They will always be a power in that conference. They will always have one of the largest football budgets in that conference and will not lose negotiating strength.

NC A&T/Richmond 4 right to lay an egg in the Hawks' Nest!

I don't think this team will easily roll anyone. It's the playoffs. -
Glad Alex Reed got recognized for his play. Really becoming a fan of him. Hope Stockwell feels slighted. He is an all conference talent. Can he get healthy and take his level of play to a higher level in the playoffs?

I'd like to think so but Richmond will be a tough out if they make the trip to Grand Forks. -
That is a good listen. I'm glad Klieman caught himself in the opening about how last year it wasn't the Valley teams that kept winning. Also Tom's comment about the flip flopping in Fargo was great.

Half the teams in the MVFC finished below .500. Based on your logic I think SDSU would have finished about where Cal Poly finished in the Big Sky?
-
With only 3 non conference games it is very hard to get a good comparison of varying schedules. What I don't know about Saragin is how the original rankings are calculated? Who put UNI #2 to start the year and than let the computers take over?
-
It's the playoffs, there are a lot of tough outs in the field. I watched SDSU play Cal Poly this year Is was a few weeks before our game against them
-
You mean the league that was better than the MVFC head to head?
-
Is this like last season when the MVFC teams were going to eliminate each other since they were in one half of the bracket? How many did you face again? If SDSU wanted to be seeded higher than 8, they should have won another game. They are seeded where they should be and FUnis likely seeded where they should be.
-
Will the Alerus pick up where it left off in the 4th quarter vs NAU? Hopefully fans understand now that noise makes a difference and it is ok to yell on 1st and 2nd down.
-
Highest seeded team will always be at home. If two non seeded teams meet, it goes to a bid.
-
Most on this board have been saying all season the Big Sky is a better conference than the MVFC this year. Apparently the committee agreed. I will never say for certainty I know what a committee I am not on will do. Especially when the Big Sky rep has proved to be a pussy in the past.

I am kind of surprised that Sam Houston did not climb into the top 4 with a 30+ point win yesterday. How you are #1 three weeks ago and drop to #5 without losing surprises me.
-
I'm guessing conference titles have helped with fan interest. Tom Miller had a recent article regarding travel costs. The best thing UND could have done to save money was cut programs. It impressive to have this success with 21 programs and supporting women's teams as well
-
Why make a lateral (depends on opinion) move when you are just starting to build momentum in your athletic dept. and your current conference
-
Did you realize your volleyball team was still playing?
-
Despite what FU fans think there is more than football in an athletic dept I was actually referring to our volleyball team winning the postseason tournament yesterday as well You can't win anything more if your sitting at home when the playoffs start so yeah, waiting to hear your name called on the selection show is a success We have been close in some sports the last few years but seem to be off to a good start this year with two conference championships and two post season appearances this fall.
-
After the last couple weeks, why would the AD and President still be considering this? Fans have been the entire transition plus a few for success like this.
-
You must not have heard UNI only had 5 home games.
-
Just go read B'ville. They have it all figured out.
-
Why is leaving this conference on the table again? Two NCAA tournament selection shows in two weeks for UND athletics. Great job ladies.

With SHSU getting a 30+ point win today I think it will be interesting to see how far they climb. The committee has had a boner for them since the first week, now it can be justified with the most impressive win of the day.
