In order for them to finish 6-5 they would have to beat SDSU. That would put SDSU at four losses. There will be a lot of shake up in the MVFC and the Big Sky in the last three weeks. It would be fun for UND to win out and be a spectator the final week.
-
The team needs to grind it out to the bye week. One cannot deny the benefit that would have right now. 9 weeks in a row plus four weeks of fall camp is a grind. That doesn't excuse the offensive, special teams and defensive miscues but it can explain the drop in play. And also The fact that Weber is a pretty good team.
-
Obviously it doesn't stop it but it makes it a little more challenging. Why don't they play music when UND has the ball?
-
May as well let the opposing coaches yell the plays in than.
-
Until fans understand it is ok to make noise on 1st and 2nd down they will do this.
-
Still not sure why we haven't seen #22 running the jet sweep or fake when #5 is in the backfield.
-
8 guys in the box and 3 keying on #22 and #5.
-
Ok that's it. So not throwing the first quarter couldn't let him throw it in the ocean in the 2nd?
-
What does being the 2nd or 3rd Big Sky team get? Either way we are likely going to play SDSU or maybe WIU. I would have rather had a game up in the conference but it really doesn't matter after the EWU win today.
-
The QB run has been part of our offense for two years now?? QB couldn't throw it and they were stacking the box. Some of Studs' runs were option reads. Some were calls to get an extra blocker. Something didn't seem right with Studs throwing the ball today. He was way off in the first half. I don't think he was healthy. Just my opinion.
-
He also has to call the game to get to 7 wins and a chance at 8, than 9. Sucks getting the QB hurt but to Oxbows point earlier Weber was putting 8 in the box. We weren't running great and Studs wasn't exactly tearing it up throwing the ball pre-injury. I think he was hurt coming in.

Apparently not good. Walk up crowd was terrible. Huge props to the students for sticking it out.
-
Great point. I think it's a great addition to coverage. Heck, send a text to get some discussion going. Hopefully lots of positives to talk about today.
-
Need really good walk up traffic tomorrow. And a fantastic student turnout. What are the odds of getting both?
-
I want the autobid. I'll be cheering for Montana to beat EWU and would like to see them get beat the next week as well by Cal Poly.
-
I'm sure BisonDan or others will be here shortly to discuss how important funding women's sports is in Fargo. I'd use purple so they could understand but have no idea how
-
Well said. people need to remember what a home field advantage the Al can be
-
It appears they will bring in a pretty balanced attack. I watched the end of the SUU game last night and they have some pretty good athletes in the slot. Defensively they are middle of the pack. I'm guessing they watch the ISU film and put 8 in the box to make us beat them throwing the ball. Absoluteky need a clean game next week. Getting Reyes and possibly Taj back wouldn't hurt either. Offensively, the backs need to take what's there and not put our OL and TEs in bad positions by trying to bounce everything. Watch Gordon on tape and do that.
-
ISU really, really stacked the box yesterday and we struggled. Whether it was penalties or getting no gains or negative plays running to the sidelines we were our own worst enemy yesterday. Glad Reyes got some rest time but he needs to stay healthy down the stretch. These remaining three weeks of the season could be the ugliest wins ever but I'd take them. The boys are one of the only teams (maybe the only) that has to grind out 11 straight weeks and they looked tired yesterday. We questioned our depth before the season started and it is being tested. Have to gut it out and not be our own worst enemy on game days.
-
Runs really well for a big kid
-
We look tired. Is not having a bye to this point of the season taking a toll or were we overlooking ISU? not sure how overlooking them is possible after last year.
-
Everyone looks lost this week. Did what we couldn't afford to do and let them hang around in the first half. Best wake up at halftime boys.
-
John has had some holes but runs laterally to the sideline every carry. Get up field.
-
Boys better wake up. Ugly so far.
-
Some teams still have nearly a half a season to play. UND is a rare situation not having a bye yet but still having a month of games left. Thats a lot of football.
