It's that time again! Anyone else getting ramped up for the WJC?! USA's first game looks like Monday, Dec. 26th against Denmark. A couple observations: - Forbort is the lone Fighting Sioux on the team. - Blais took Archibald. - Roster is made up of: *15 college hockey players (6 WCHA, 4 CCHA, 4 Hockey East, 1 ECACH) *7 canadian juniors players (6 OHL, 1 WHL) *1 USHL player - The 1 ECACH player is the emergency goaltender (Andy Iles from Cornell) Roster Final U.S. National Junior Team roster set USA WJC Blog

My guess is that they'll say "this is a matter to be handled by law enforcement" and they'll let that play out. While I do agree that peice has to play itself out, however if the NCAA's response to this is to let law enforcement handle this and they totally step aside, I think that's a gutless, chickensh*t way to handle this. I hope I'm wrong and they step up here.

HA - thanks for the clarification. Yes, as I stated this is what I've heard - whether it's true or not is another thing. I was just wondering if anyone else has info on this, and if this may be true??? Funny thing is - it is complete bull, as you say, but I wouldn't put it past the NCAA.

Since then, the school lost its accreditation, so the NCAA isnt' recognizing those classes - even though at the time he took them it was an accredited school. If true, yet another example of the NCAA F'ing someone. Was he supposed to look into his crystal ball and see that 2 years into the future this was going to happen, so he shouldn't have taken these classes from that school? If anyone else has information, I'd like to hear it.

This is really disappointing. Injuries happen and it stinks that Grimaldi may be out for some time, but St. Clair played juniors for 3 years and committed to UND how long ago? Why would this not be all ironed out a long time ago?

Wow - reading that list I can't tell you how glad I am that we lost those recruiting battles to the goofers. Although, who knows, maybe they'd have actually developed and panned out here at UND.
