HA...thanks. I don't want to get into a pissing match over the color of jerseys and who should wear what - it's not that big of a deal. I've played plenty of hockey and the only way it would be tough to pick out your teammates is if you were wearing the same color jerseys (Minn wearing yellow while playing Michigan in yellow, for example). I prefer white at home, you don't...no biggie.

Sorry, but I have to call BS on this. If you have a tough time seeing your teammates on the ice whether they're wearing white, red, black, blue...I think you may have issues and want to hang the skates up. Whites at home!

I don't see any way that it won't be free. I've ordered it the past few years but there's no way I'm giving them $1 this year. I'm very excited for the season to start and will be watching come opening day, but won't spend any money on the Center Ice package or other merchandise. If I lived in a city that had NHL hockey I would not spend any money on tickets this year, either - I would/will just be watching on TV. That being said, if DirecTV tries to charge me for the Center Ice package, they're nuts. I plan on getting it for free this year.

I agree that this needs to happen - and it will - just not this year. Not enough time between now and the start of the season to tackle this. Too many other big things to get in order. However, before next year's season this will be a done deal.

Man, I love seeing Don Cherry's panties in a bunch. I agree with Wilbur - keep the CHL to Canadians only and let the US kids and foreigners play US College Hockey. When Cherry says that these kids were developed in the CHL, I wonder if he's aware that they're anywhere from 17-20 years old and have only played in the CHL for 1 or 2 years, max. I suppose the coaching that they've had in those 1 or 2 years far outweigh the previous 15 years that they've been playing hockey, since it was in Canada, you know!

The WHL has a "US Division" that consists of the Portland Winterhawks, Spokane Chiefs, Tri-City Americans, Seattle Thunderbirds and the Everett Silvertips. The OHL has the Plymouth Whalers and Saginaw Spirit, both in Michigan. I believe that's it.

Holy crap - are there seriously people thinking that this WASN'T deserving of a penalty, game misconduct and suspension? This hit would have been brutal enough if the Tech player would have had the puck. But there's 1 small detail that I noticed in the video - HE DIDN'T HAVE THE PUCK! The Wisconsin kid railroads him as he's backchecking, trying to catch the other Wisconsin player that HAS the puck. In my opinion, he's LUCKY he got off with only 1 game for this.

I completely agree. St. Clair did a bit of acting and sold it, but I think this penalty was definitely a makeup call.
