Benik sure seems to score a lot in that spot to the right of the opposing teams goalie. Reminds me of a former UND player that scored a lot of goals in that similar spot....won the Hobey Baker one year.

Well, we all knew sweeping St. Cloud wasn't going to be easy. I did like it that we at least had the opportunity to do so. Gotta give credit to SCSU, there is a reason why they are tied for 1st with us. Just gotta keep chugging on. We have WMU at home while St. Cloud has to travel to Colorado Springs. Hopefully we can take care of business against of WMU and CC manages to get a win out against St. Cloud.

Frustrating loss. I thought UND still looked better than DU. Offense couldn't bury one and Brittain decided to play strong in net for Denver. PP unit has got to convert more. Here I was hoping gfhockey would pull the whole "reverse psychology" line with a UND win. Hah.

UND controlled play pretty much the whole game. Have to give kudos to Saunders' performance. Stepped in for an injured Gothberg just fine. If this team can continue playing like this, look out!

Can't say I've ever attended a Bison football game after the rivalry was suspended but a friend of mine who is a fan and down in Frisco posted a clip on FaceBook of the national anthem being sung. Do the fans actually say "Home of the Bison" at every game? If so, how original. I certainly don't remember Bison fans doing that when I attended the last UND-NDSU football game in the FargoDome.

I don't disagree and you are very much right on UMD/Sandelin. That's why I hope Hakstol can win one soon. It'd put this discussion into hibernation for a while.

Last I checked, Urban at least has a history of winning a national championship. Which is something Hakstol is lacking and as to why people are losing patience over every season with no results. Hell, there's a reason why Sandelin has a pretty good length leash. He's had some not so good seasons but he's notched a natty. I still think Hakstol is the man but I can see why there is clamoring to get rid of him.

Midco shows the stick salute right at the end of the broadcast. Had to shove one more commercial down our throats instead of being able to see it live.

Yep, very much agreed. It's getting to be really tough to watch them...granted we have been spoiled with some good years(minus post season choking). Not use to seeing a UND team struggle this much. Yikes... If things keep going the way it is, I don't see the second half of the season being much different.
