The ACT college entrance exam for the high school class of 2008 shows 24 percent of the 6,113 North Dakota test-takers met the college-readiness benchmark score in all four areas: English, math, reading and science. That compared with 22 percent nationally. North Dakota State University in Fargo was the university of choice for 17.5 percent of the students, while 13.8 percent named the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. I don't care - I've never said one way or the other. It seems everyone at ss.com thinks it's not a problem.

Does it include the law and medical school. If it does then the statistic is meaningless as I'm sure they have different admission standards and alot of students wanting to get into law or medical schools.

Actually all it says is NDSU attracts a better quality HS student from the start.

You think gettting into a conference is a slam dunk? Hell we were lucky that the stars were lined up. Teams have to leave conferences for other teams to join. You'll need that luck also to get into a conference. (specially fb)

When you start getting home games with DI schools (good ones) you'll quickly see a tremendous difference in the quality of athlete and coaching over DII. I think VB was one of the sports where there was a large difference between DI and DII.

Maybe you need to reread the thread.

If you're not in a conference by then (larger one) where do you think the games are going to come from? Hell even the Griz are playing a dii school this year.

With your schedule I wouldn't be talking. You guys have the 2nd worst schedule in our division except for USD. Only 10 games with 3 weeks off.

Both will be sell outs or close to it. I don't know how you measure excitement but that's a good indicator. Austin Peay has 60 and Central I don't know.

It's isn't too hard - If you take the special state and federal monies away the NA programs would also go away. This all boils down to relationships and UND doesn't have a good relationship with the tribes for whatever the reasons are - period.
