What are they smoking at INCH. I would rate the incoming Sioux talent as the the #1 of all time let alone this season.
-
I believe it has already been discussed in a previous thread that Martens was this years successful walk-on.
-
We won't have room for all of them but I agree that Taylor and Seabrook have the potential to do extremely well this year.

The most talented D-man to ever lace them up for the Sioux announced his retirement from hockey today. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=135676

Sioux Hockey WCHA----is it really that good?
Sioux_Hab-it replied to SiouxFootballField's topic in Men's Hockey
Actually, Skippy was discussing the Canadian Hockey League (Major Junior in Canada) but in typical Skippy fashion he didn't have his facts straight and may have mislead you by talking about 23 year old players. He must have done some homework since because in another thread he now realizes that there a couple of dozen 20 year olds in the league playing with hundreds of teenagers, many of which are only 16. In his post he also believes that the CHL is still far superior based on results from a decade and more ago. If he dug a little deeper he would realize that the league in question is watered down due to its own expansion and the expansion of professional hockey. Additionally, in the past several years, the elite hockey teams of the NCAA has been attracting traditional CHL talent so when you factor in the age difference they are now just as good or better then the top CHL teams. -

Interesting that State of Hockey gets active at the same time as this new football ignoramus. I smell a rat, no make that a Gopher with two IDs out trolling. -

I was gentle the first time I read one of your posts but now it time for you to get a real North Dakota education from a Canuck. Rebuttal is as follows -
If you are only interested in the football team what are you doing here. We've got boards to keep us in play so please stay between the lines.

Is it just coincidence that this never used to happen until the business of selling the broacasts began.

My son used to play against him so I know he is a Winnipeg native and started his junior career with the Selkirk Steelers in the MJHL. He was traded to Quesnel of the BCJHL two years ago. I recall that he had been a draft pick of the major junior team in Swift Current but I guess that route either didn't work out or he wanted to go the college route. Maybe he is insurance in case Kaip can't play because that will likely be his style of game.

I guess the broadcast rights for the games must all be released on the same day because TSN released their schedule today. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature.asp?fid=684 It will be interesting to see what the ongoing CBC strike does to their hockey coverage.

From the tropics is he?

You can add Lowell's Senior Walters to the list. http://www.bostonbruins.com/pressbox/press...ses.asp?ID=1499

I didn't spot this in any other thread but yesterday INCH posted a complimentary review on UND's (next Captain?), Drew Stafford. http://insidecollegehockey.com/7Archives/a...afford_0350.htm

I was trying to avoid inflamming the good Dogz fans on this site. By feisty edge, I was implying that Rosehill can be a dirty SOB at times whereas, although Smaby can dish out the big hits, he usually sticks to the rules and spirit of the game.
-
I can agree with your second line but I suspect that Stafford will be sporting the C.

INCH is also reporting that Skinner has signed with the Canucks. http://insidecollegehockey.com/INCH.htm

Maybe they caught the end of last year's fight and all they heard was that he got "owned by UND"

Actually, there are now several hotels that are in the same parking area as the arena including a Marriott Residence Inn. If you saw the old Broadmoor World Arena when you were out here for the 2004 Regionals I want a shot of what you were drinking because it was demolished in 1995. I know that for a fact because it also used to house our curling club when I was living there.

I believe that Tony Frasca (1950 CC NCAA Champ Team) started the Panino's chain and I seem to recall hearing that he is Sertich's grandfather. If you are going up to Cripple Creek don't drive the road at night or after a few wobbley-pops. Either use one of the casino buses or make it an overnight activity
