  1. Which is the problem. There will be a hidden agenda somewhere saving certain sports that need not be saved.
  2. Let's hope the Kennedy is given the actual facts when it comes to Title IX and sport requirements, prongs, etc as they relate to UND's campus. I was told that Ed wasn't exactly given the facts as far as Title IX is concerned, which directly affected his decision at the time.

    2016 Season

  4. I am good with it. But I'm not T&A like you guys.
  5. Title IX is not an issue for UND if they want to cut Women's sports. Simple shifting of things after the cuts and UND would be more than good. They are actually in a great spot to cut sports now.
  6. I bought the grey shirt.
  7. Faison: "Some scholarship costs were more than anticipated..." Like when student-athletes are recruited from Europe? Been told their cost is almost double what a North Dakota kid's cost is.
  8. Convenient time to transition it out of the AD.
  9. To me that was an awfully big "email" to send out without doing any follow up on specifics, even if most of your answers are vague.
  10. My point is he thinks he is smarter than everyone else and ACTS like it.
  11. The announcement was supposed to happen on Friday but my theory is it would have looked bad having the big logo unveiling deal the next day. Why they picked Tuesday when he is out of town is beyond me. Miller's article is accurate. The Herald is setting the tone early for what they expect from the UND President. Not too outlandish for him to follow up with some 1-on-1 answers, even if the specifics need to come later. One of the early problems I am sensing with Kennedy is he thinks he is smarter than most everybody else. That usually doesn't play well around here.
  12. This ^^^^. Was waiting for a stupid NDSU fan response to the commit. The kid was obviously only going to get either a UND offer or NDSU offer and UND was the only one he got. The South Dakota schools aren't going all the way up to Hallock for anybody, let alone a walk-on. So he wisely took it. Camp season is over, also. No more proving your self in person. D2 money offers will probably come in later.
  13. I know this is going to sound bad but on the city cross-streets like 17th Ave S and 24th Ave S, people literally drive 25 mph. And they are always in front of you all the way from Washington to 42nd Street S. Takes like 10 mins to get across town. I now just shoot up to Demers and fly across town. Demers is the best.
  14. Like I stated above, stupid decision for Gibbs and he just decommitted after finally getting an offer from a SD MVFC school. NDSU strong-armed him into committing to PWO and then never offered. Bush.
  15. Yes there was T-shirts with just the logo, IIRC.
  16. But, but it's Sioux merchandise?
  17. Who were these people that said putting "Fighting Hawks" on a T-shirt was going to make up for the gap in the lost revenue from Sioux gear?
  18. Yes. Because less and less of the ND logo is going to be made. What is your angle with constantly updating everyone with how poorly the merchandise is selling, even though it hasn't even been released yet...what's your point?
  19. Do you think?
  20. Anybody who wants Sioux gear simply has to go down to Scheel's in GF. There is an entire rack of "Sioux" stuff. Not exactly flying out the door.
  21. In what way?
  22. Faison responded, again, with a request for a home-and-home series, according to an e-mail obtained by an open-record request by the Grand Forks Herald. Faison continued, saying UND would play NDSU in Fargo on September 19, 2015, for no guarantee, "knowing that you will do the right thing and return the game to Grand Forks on any one of seven alternative dates I have given you in earlier e-mails." Those dates include possible games in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. "Just as you were able to work out a home-and-home series recently with Weber State, there should be no reason why we cannot get this same thing done for our series," Faison wrote to Taylor. "You even have a draft contract that we sent you in January of 2013. . . that could help frame getting this done in short order." That is demanding? Sounds like pretty standard lingo to me.
  23. "it's culture". Dohkay Chief. Faison was such an asshat, yah. Asking for a game every year between 100+ year in-state rivals. What an crazy asshat.
