I know that i'm not the first one to say this on this board, but this years version of the sioux is the most pathetic thing i've seen since the last years of the gino era. never in the last ten years have i seen a team play with such little heart, pride, or sense of urgency. they got lucky last night that BSU decided to play on their heels and try and hold on to a 3-0 lead. An earlier post suggested that Hak will have his head handed to him withing 3 years if this keeps up. I second that, and maybe call it earlier, this program is the cream of the crop and this is completely unacceptable. They should not be tying a CHA hockey team. They should not be trailing 3-0 to a CHA hockey team. They should be up 4 goals after 2 periods and still striving for more. I can't believe that some people on this board come on and say there were positives to this game. The only one i saw is the Sioux POSITIVELY stink this year. I predict that they are going to mail in the rest of the season and hopefully this crop of seniors won't let the door hit em on the ass on the way out. Earlier poster said it when they compared the seniors to essentially red shirt freshman. They are playing like it. Prpich is the only one playing constistent. I know that i'm not a great hockey mind like the majority of posters on this board, but i like to know that i have a little knowledge of the game and i'm sad to say that i'm glad i didn't waste the money on season tickets this year because they woulda been used more for PR than my own personal enjoyment. It's tuff to stomach a game like last night on tv or radio, much less in person. I will always be a sioux hockey fan, i have the logo tatoo'd on the back of my neck, I bleed green and white, but as a hockey fan, this season has laid more disappointment on my hockey heart. at least the WJC's were here so we could see some quality hockey. maybe i'm wrong, maybe i'm jumping to conclusions, maybe it's just 5 months of frustration with this team coming out right now, but i beg this team to pull their heads out of their asses, their hearts out of their stomachs and their pride from wherever they put it and make a run STARTING TONIGHT!!!! Take out their frustrations on this BSU team and keep it going through april.

cmon now. as much as i love bashing the gophers, this isn't a 'bash the gophers' thread. this is a 'bash our captain for his wreckless decision' thread. the moral of the story is, Matt Greene made a very very wreckless decision and should be held accountable, he should be stripped of the 'C'. I agree with an earlier post and it should be given to Prpich, he's one of few that show up game in and game out and never take a shift off. Maybe that'll spark a fire under the asses of this beloved program and we won't need a slip-up by the gooofs to pass them and many others in the pairwise. and to completely contradict my earlier statement: gophers suck and I am now a fairweathered Michigan Tech Husky fan.

i'll tell you what it's like to watch my cousin roll his wheelchair around the house for christmas, or wait for him to come downstairs for an air hockey game in his house cuz his wheelchair lift takes five minutes. i'll tell you how lucky he is to have his wife and three young children keeping him from being angry about having his neck broken by a friend who decided to drive drunk. my cousing was trying to talk him out of the car when he popped the clutch and rolled the vehicle down a hill. my cousin wasn't lost, but watching him is a constant reminder of how stupid the decision is to drive drunk. greene should be stripped of his 'C' and at least suspended if found guilty. This s&!t is preventable.

add to these posts that the players from north dakota that do go to juniors, many of them don't face the level of competition that a lot of minnesota kids face, making juniors almost necesary before making the transition to college hockey. I don't think a lot of these kids would have blossomed into the players they have without juniors.

all kinds of math info this is a stats guy's useful tool (although designed around baseball, still interesting to hockey fans alike). it shows you how to calculate just about any 0.783 stat you could imagine. again, being a math guy, i love it being a huge baseball fan, i'm thankful for it.

Formula: Games won/games won + games lost Calculate: To calculate winning percentage divide the number of games won by the total games won and lost. Winning percentage is calculated to 3 decimal places I'm a math guy, so this was bugging me, and needed to be corrected for my own sanity. 49/49+19 = 49/68 = 0.720588 also, sorry virg, 400/400+171 = 400/571 = 0.700525. I didn't mean to do this, and i'm gonna get made fun of for it, but it was gonna drive me nuts. thanks for your patience.

not to take anything away from karl's career, but, he was blessed with unbelievably stellar defense's in front of him to go along with the sick offense's who controlled the puck 45 minutes of the game. I don't think lammy has seen that in front of him at all this year, maybe a glimmer of it on saturday night, but nothing close, especially against the better teams in the league.

do you happen to have any of toby?? i know he wasn't a "stellar" goalie, but a good one, and has a ring..

how many of these are actually watching the games much less know about the recruits?? no offense to those of you that do, i'm obviously making reference to the "new ralph" season ticket holder.

i guess in reading these posts, all very good, i didn't really get any predictions on how those of us in the sioux community feel the coach of our beloved fighting sioux is going to finish the season. some banter on the second half of the poll question would be awesome. i'm curious as to how most of you feel. I thought i was a diehard until i got on here, most of you out there make me feel silly and that i have limited knowledge. PCM, FEDEROV, Goon, hell, even WpoS (minus his gooofer affiliation) are all great hockey minds. Entertain me.
