  1. it's not just about being on the fourth line so much as it is starting out there as a freshman, not playing too often to being a senior and still in the same damn predicament. in four years of college hockey, not developing the way most do to a different role than when you showed up.
  2. dead set in the heart of the city the houses the gophers!!! minn/st.paul same thing. it's not a gopher conspiracy, it's a wcha blunder to allow this every year. It's a technicality and you know it.
  3. same reason they sold out the tiny general admission section as season ticket packages for the first 3(at least) seasons.
  4. i think that is the common thread here. i don't think that anyone is blaming the gophers. they are just the benefactors of the WCHA and NC$$ reaping the benefits of an Xcel facility. if they put the Xcel Energy Center in, say, Bemidji, then all the teams in MN, sconny and UND all have the same kind of advantage, a little tuffer for denver and cc, but you get the point. either centrally located NOT in a team's hometown, or rotate it between the larger venues throughout the league.
  5. did he say he was going to be available to help recruit for the next state championship team coming from warroad??
  6. is it just me, or is there something to NOT be said about these two 4 yr 4th liners?? I know that they are role players, but you would think that in a four year career, that they would have at least been placed on a line with a goal scorer to go into the corners and get the puck for said scorer. i guess i have always been of the mindset that you stick young guys on the fourth line and make them go out, earn their stripes by mucking and grinding, and then move them up the ranks as their abilities get better. not too many people can step into the league as well as a zach or even zajac and sparky. i might be wrong, but damn b, these seniors should have at least established themselves on even the third line

  16. wouldn't that make woog the retard?? he's the one doin the color. I do, however, know what you meant and yes, mazzaco is the retard.
  17. those two "refs" are both from east grand forks. J.B Olson and Buzz Olson. I played hockey in east grand forks all growing up, and these two ref'd many of my games and i have never liked either one of them. They are two hacks which i was amazed to see refing the AA championship game in the state of hockey.
