They didn't show anything more than what was posted here? I was hoping that they would have some additional info or renderings of the indoor practice facility.

I keep waiting for this link to become active, so we can see more of these plans.

Looking at the Alerus webcam, I see that it is set up for basketball. Who is playing there? If the Betty does become too small for hoops, this isn't a bad set up.

UND steps up scholarship campaign When I posted the link to the possible new football stadium last week, I asked the question how does it look. There was a response that it was too open. Now I know why...

Until someone comes up with a better nickname, Nokotas is number one on my list, in the event that a change has to occur. I have also come to agree that merchandise sales would go much better with a nickname than without. It took me a while, but I got there.

I do like PCM's "Nokota" idea, but that would take some educating of the public, which may be difficult marketing-wise as well. That being said "Nokota" does fit very well and someone had mentioned if/when football moves back outside that would be a nice mascot to lead the team out on the field. BTW, DAK, love the avatar. I love geography, maps, aerial photos. Right up my alley.

I'm not sure that I'm fully answering your question regarding marketing, but putting "DAKOTA" on the uniforms and utilizing the interlocking ND for the logo is a start. Marketing is obviously not my strong point, but I would think that a media campaign could be structured around "UND, the University of the Dakotas". Like I said, I'm not a marketing person, but that's a start.
