Who is the main person handling the recruiting? I'm just wondering how heavily that will be impacted. UND will need to act quickly in naming a new coach or risk losing out on some recruits. Is anyone else going with Dale?

I join those in astonishment. I thought this was just a wild message board rumor and didn't really give it much credence. Well, I hope someone in the Athletic Department was working on this. Good Luck at SIU, Dale.

The topic of UND's Master Plan is being discussed on Grand Forks Guy's website. Of course the first post would be an NDSU poster bashing it.

I liked Glas as well, but the real story wasn't in his overall win/loss record. The real difference between Gunter and Glas was conference wins. Glas won 56% of his conference games, while Gunther won 65% of his. Gunther won conference championships, Glas did not. I liked Rich, but the program wasn't growing with him. Attendance was dropping. It was time for a change. I'm hopeful that Jones' new system (Princeton) will be successful. Honestly, I'd rather watch that than a bunch of big guys banging around. I like old time basketball where skill, hustle and brains were more important than muscle and bulk.

First that I've heard of it, but I do like the fact that they aren't backing away from using the "Fighting Sioux" in the name of the new "unit", instead of something like "UND Athletic Properties".

I am a Florida contractor who has worked in both locations. I recently provided a proposal in another part of Florida for a GF contractor and was in-line with my ND counterpart price-wise. C.O.L. is not that different, either. ND labor is better educated is the biggest difference that I've seen.

One of the complaints over the years from the name change crowd, is UND was using the name without consent of the tribes and that UND should be talking to the tribes to get their consent. Now we read that those type conversations are beneath the Sioux leaders. Amazing.

The skywalk over 2nd Avenue would be the one directly over the guys head that is on the far left in the picture that you show on the right. The skywalk that you are pointing to is the one over Columbia Road.

Looking at the third image on the JLG website, there appears to be a skyway from the parking deck to the stadium.

UND is losing to Mayville at halftime, 36-35. Roebuck is not there due to illness according to GF Herald website.
