We would be the Force of the North.
No I'm not advocating a name change to the Force of the North. I'm just using the term.
Resurrecting an old thread....
Forecast low for GF for Wednesday night is 3.
Forecast low for Pensacola for Wednesday night is 18.
Forecast low for Orlando for Wednesday night is 26.
So much for global warming.
Count me in for that. Star2City lives along the coast as well, so we should be able to get some nice numbers there. My wife has some friends who graduated from Southeastern to round things out.
True, but they don't list that game as "at", but South Dakota is listed as "at SLU. I hope you are right, though. I already have eight people lined up to go to the game, if it is in Hammond.
My selfish side wanted the Southeastern Louisiana game to be in Hammond in 2008, but from the looks of this schedule it will be in GF. Maybe the Sioux will be down here in 2009.
Aren't 95% of all college coaching jobs "stepping stones"? Unless you are a major BCS school (and even then it isn't permanent) you are always looking for the $$$ or larger challenge.
I would say that Mussman is the most logical choice with the need for quick action. I don't think that he would be a bad choice even without the given circumstances.
Although I was not a big fan of his when he was at UND, Behrns has done quite well at UNO and is the all-times wins leader there. He has proven that he knows how to win in GF against the Sioux. What are your thoughts on the possiblity of Behrns coming back to UND??
So if Standing Rock decides that they are a sovereign nation, will UND be able to keep the Sioux name, ala USD Aztecs?
Tribe official says council will consider treaty pullout
From what I've read over on the Saluki board, this has been a done deal for a few days and the delay in announcing it was because Lennon wanted to tie up loose ends at UND. Hopefully, that time was spent by Athletics getting a new coach lined up quickly.
Who is the main person handling the recruiting? I'm just wondering how heavily that will be impacted. UND will need to act quickly in naming a new coach or risk losing out on some recruits.
Is anyone else going with Dale?
I join those in astonishment. I thought this was just a wild message board rumor and didn't really give it much credence. Well, I hope someone in the Athletic Department was working on this.
Good Luck at SIU, Dale.
