  1. While not ideal, this is probably a necessary short term step with a view to the long term. As mksioux said, I would hope that UND wouldn't lock into a long term commitment to such a wide spread conference. UND may join all-sports conference
  2. I quite honestly wasn't familiar with the field of Energetics. Nice to see UND continues to be a leader in education and extending opportunities into additional fields.
  3. Did something happen to I-94? Did they make it a one-way, where you can only go from ND into the Cities?
  4. UND alumnus, wife donate $2 million to university Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman.
  5. Q&A with Joe Gleason
  6. Some further recruiting news...Wispers: Givens, Chowa, Tumbleson and Jahn
  7. Do you mean head to head competitions such as these in 2007 and 2008? 2007... 2008...
  8. Not that it really matters, but UND does have a club lacrosse team and according to the standings NDSU has one as well. UND Lacrosse
  9. I was at a park in Denver last week and saw three guys playing catch with lacrosse sticks. A few days later I was talking to my nephew in Colorado Springs and he told me hopes to play lacrosse in college in a couple of years. It's coming... get on board.

  11. Way back in this thread there was talk about a hotel being built on the Bronson property. It looks as though the project is finally moving. Developers plan Courtyard by Marriott on Bronson Property
  12. I was commenting more on your addition than anything else. You said 29-15 and it was actually 29-16. You said 35-12 and it was actually 35-9. I would still take the 79.5% over the 64.4%
  13. Just trying to get the facts right. I do believe that Bohl has more to do with the improved record than the level of competition.
  14. You must be using NDSU math. Using the records that you provided, I get.. 2000-2003..... 29-16..... 64.4% 2004-2007....... 35-9.... 79.5% Not that I really care what NDSU's record has been for the past 8 years, but it seems Dave K is right that NDSU's record is better since the move to FCS.
  15. Couturier sets new high for N.B. I just don't like these kind of shenanigans, whether it's from a "kid", hid dad or advisor. Your word should mean something.
  16. I watched a little bit of the Long Island vs. Philadelphia MLL game last night on ESPN2. I don't have a clue as to what all of the rules are, but it sure is fun to watch. If I lived in GF and the Sioux had a lacrosse team, I would be there.
  17. Perhaps there is someone who is a track aficionado out there, but I don't think I've heard of a race being fully re-run like that. Flying hurdles? Did they re-run the race in the 1984 Olympics when Zola Budd impeded Mary Decker and Decker fell? Stuff happens. I would think that Port Washington has a legitimate argument that the original result should stand.
  18. Amen to that.
  19. Not to pile on here, but can't she say "no" to the men that she is involved with. Seems that would solve the problem and wouldn't cost any medical bills or insurance expenses.
  20. Shuttle Astronauts Share Space Through Souvenirs
  21. I like it. Much better than the old look.

  24. The council is afraid of a vote, yet proclaims that the nickname will perpetuate stereotyping. Why not let the people decide. It truly is amazing that Ron His Horse is Thunder and his ilk complained that they weren't asked to be included in discussions regarding the name and then when the settlement was announced he complained that it was all being put on him and now he won't even let the people decide for themselves. If I were the ones attempting to get a resolution, I would start a petition, collect enough names so that the referendum's outcome would be obvious and take the data to the media.
