  1. Winning would solve that problem. Remember when the Sioux had some great teams in the late 80's and early 90's. There was no problems with attendance and BB got plenty of ink. Vonesh, Guldseth, Johnson, Gardner ....

  7. Although I don't own a gun, I consider this to be a huge victory for our rights as Americans... High court rules individuals have right to own guns for self-defense
  8. Sorry, I think I would trust an experienced AD more than you on the difficulties in scheduling, "conference" vs. "no conference" I didn't say anything about hanging banners or what a championship would be mean to the U, I simply stated that it would be a nice achievement for the student/athlete to shoot for. I highly doubt that Faison is thinking that this is the end game for conference membership. It would be a first step toward a much bigger goal. Thanks for caring so much about North Dakota athletics.
  9. As I mentioned previously, a revised Great West is not ideal, but it does accomplish a couple of short term goals, scheduling and conference championships for the student/athletes. These were a couple of the main points of the article from Faison.... It may not be a recognized conference by the NCAA insofar as post season, but it does provide a goal for the student athlete.
  10. I missed the news report when they moved Lake Minnetonka to Florida.
  11. While not ideal, this is probably a necessary short term step with a view to the long term. As mksioux said, I would hope that UND wouldn't lock into a long term commitment to such a wide spread conference. UND may join all-sports conference
  12. I quite honestly wasn't familiar with the field of Energetics. Nice to see UND continues to be a leader in education and extending opportunities into additional fields.
  13. Did something happen to I-94? Did they make it a one-way, where you can only go from ND into the Cities?
  14. UND alumnus, wife donate $2 million to university Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman.

  17. Do you mean head to head competitions such as these in 2007 and 2008? 2007... 2008...
  18. Not that it really matters, but UND does have a club lacrosse team and according to the standings NDSU has one as well. UND Lacrosse
  19. I was at a park in Denver last week and saw three guys playing catch with lacrosse sticks. A few days later I was talking to my nephew in Colorado Springs and he told me hopes to play lacrosse in college in a couple of years. It's coming... get on board.

  21. Way back in this thread there was talk about a hotel being built on the Bronson property. It looks as though the project is finally moving. Developers plan Courtyard by Marriott on Bronson Property
  22. I was commenting more on your addition than anything else. You said 29-15 and it was actually 29-16. You said 35-12 and it was actually 35-9. I would still take the 79.5% over the 64.4%
  23. Just trying to get the facts right. I do believe that Bohl has more to do with the improved record than the level of competition.
  24. You must be using NDSU math. Using the records that you provided, I get.. 2000-2003..... 29-16..... 64.4% 2004-2007....... 35-9.... 79.5% Not that I really care what NDSU's record has been for the past 8 years, but it seems Dave K is right that NDSU's record is better since the move to FCS.
