I would bet the number of posts by Bison posters on SDSU, Minnesota and Egriz combined don't approach the number of posts on Siouxsports by Bison posters. Additionally, I would bet that the number of posts on Bisonville regarding UND exceed the number of posts regarding SDSU, Montana and Minnesota combined. I'm not sure about AGS, but would imagine that the posting habits for NDSU fans would be fairly typical there as well.

So far the host said, while he doesn't agree with such a video because of the historical aspect with Nazi's and Hitler, he doesn't feel that it is newsworthy and no apology is due. Most have found it somewhat humorous. He also has touched on the "rivalry" and how Kolpack got a huge response on his blog when he said that the rivalry still exists whether it's a bike race or a football game. I'll have to check out the blog. I haven't seen that yet. I guess that was the end of it.

Discussion regarding the video on WDAY radio right now.

It sounded as if Coach Glas is really going to enjoy going back to Division III. He said that there is too much "babysitting" at DI and that many of the players aren't really there for the education. They are there just to showcase their talent to go to the next level, whether it is playing basketball in the NBA or in Europe. Good luck Coach Glas. I hope you have a good season at Concordia.

Glas is on WDAY radio right now. Talking about being coach at Concordia.

It has been the opinion of most of the supporters of the name that it is a small group that object to the name. If indeed it is a majority on both Standing Rock and Spirit Lake that object and their votes confirm that, UND should change the name and move on.

I went to a Blackhawk game back in 1989 with my uncle. My uncle told me and my cousins before the game that he wanted to hear us singing the national anthem. I thought, no big deal, I know the words. Little did I know you couldn't hear yourself singing it let alone the guy next to you. My uncle just looked at me and smiled. That was atmosphere.

Why is it whenever Joe does anything it's for the good of NDSU and what a strong leader he is, but whenever UND does anything, it's UND isn't supportive of the SBoHE and it's not fair? So in your book, unless Kelley does what Chapman wants, it's a "no go" for any athletic competition between the schools? If playing NDSU means that Kelley has to "kowtow" to Chapman, I hope he tells him to stick it. And yes kowtow was used intentionally.

I think the term extortion would be the one I would use here.

Freund to Dressler Connection Ryan stepping up. Nice.

I still think that UND would be nuts to not look into it.

UND athletic director has D-I history Faison extends his hand and gets... Whatcha been smoking there, Gene?
-
One thing to note with both the hires of Kelley and Faison is that they are older mature men who have already proven that they can lead, Kelley as a dean and Faison as AD and fund raiser. I think the selection team did a fine job in selecting Faison. Hopefully, the team of Kelley/Faison will take UND far. Go Sioux !!!!

Welcome to UND, Mr,. Faison.

According to WDAZ news last night Sioux football will be playing at the Alerus for the next 10 years. If attendance grows beyond Phil Harmeson said that they would meet that situation head on. Steve Hyman of the Alerus Center said with a smile, "I believe it just the beginning of other sports activities that you will see come to Alerus from UND". Does this sound like lacrosse, Sica?

Ralph Kingsbury had a nice piece today on energy and North Dakota's role. Energy - crisis elsewhere, opportunity for region Mr. Kingsbury must be part of the conspiracy, claiming that fossil fuel energy is the least expensive to produce. I would love to know how they put him there and which events they manipulated. Edit: I'm sure some of the oil companies gave to his campaign, but they likely gave to numerous candidates, as they want to be sure whoever gets elected will listen to them.
-
It is naive to think that one man can set the price of oil to his liking. I'm no expert on oil, but I do know there are many factors involved in the price of a barrel of oil.
