Good idea ScottM. IF this was just a one time thing, it really wouldn't be THAT big of a deal.. but this has been a common occurence ever since it started the previous season. Worse yet, the REA continues to promote it like it is the best thing ever.

Scholarships are limited by NCAA rules. UND funds the full amount of scholarships that are allowed by the NCAA.

Jamestown used to play in the west region. I think a few years ago (5 or 6 maybe?) they switched to the East.

I doubt it since Bismarck is growing at just a slightly lower percentage rate as Fargo. I go to school in Salt Lake City and the there are 1.5 million people in the Ogden- Salt Lake City - Provo corridor (Logan doesnt count). Trust me, you don't want that and keep in mind salt lake city attracts many different people for different reasons than pretty much any other city in the country. Also, Fargo-Grand Forks lacks the third world birth rate that most places in Utah have.

Before, everybody kept saying..we still may finish fairly low in the WCHA but we will still make the playoffs and hopefully we can pull a Denver. UND is dangerously close to being left out of the 16 team field.

I don't think this would diminish the home field advantage for the sioux inside the alerus unless they for some reason decided to put a radio in everybody's helmet.

Maybe J.P. Parise showed Toew's parents tapes of the maulings Zach received in college and that's why they are trying to back out of their commitment.

When I was at UND a couple years ago the sioux name was a very hot topic at the time. Ever since ralph died it seems as though the issue has gone away. What's new up there in GF?
