Although the Sioux made it to the frozen four, it appears this is a team that doesn't have much heart. Sioux teams of the past would have fought back after being down 2-3 goals, but this team didn't seem to want to win. That sums it up for me.

Having lived outside of North Dakota for nearly 4 years, I came to realize that cities the size (and even quite a bit larger) than Fargo or Bismarck are a dime a dozen once you get out of ND. All areas in ND have decent access to good fishing/hunting and all areas in ND are good places to raise a family. That's where my priorities are shifting now. Players in the past have said they were staying when asked in interviews then left later on, but what do you expect them to say? I dont remember any players who have gone out of their way to contact the media to say they are for sure staying and then left.

Although I am not giving an opinion or not on whether he will stay, I HIGHLY doubt that Oshie's decision was based on Toews' decision. There was a small chance Toews was going to stay, so why would oshie go out of his way to insist that he is staying right after the season was over? It doesn't make any sense.

Round trip from Fargo to Minot is approximately 540 miles. If you assume a vehicle that gets 25 miles per gallon on the highway you will use about 22 gallons of gas. AT 2 dollars per gallon of gas, you will pay ~ 44 dollars. At 3 dollars you will pay ~ 66 dollars. That is the difference of 22 dollars... that difference wouldnt stop me from going to see a band I like

Oil prices are MUCH lower than when the last time gasoline prices were this high. This is a byproduct of our lack of gasoline refining capacity.
