Ding, Ding, Ding! Every mention of UND moving back on campus by the administration has mentioned 20-30,000. This rendering looks bigger than that. However, I would hope that any future stadium for UND is planned for the largest capacity possible and then scaled down from there. The Alerus had no growth possibilities what-so-ever. That is why UND is looking at getting back on campus(besides suite and sales revenue). Take off the horse-shoe endzone and what does the capacity look like? Build the north side the first year, south side the second while keeping Memorial stadium as the end-zone and you have a decent sized start with alot of future room for growth! One thing that I think UND has had lack on is vision for the future. While the full rendering may look too big for right now, at least they are leaving their options open for the future. By the way, did anyone else see the KVLY report a couple of weeks ago that talked about how UND hoped to some day have a 30,000 seat DOME on campus with Memorial as part of it. I don't see any plans for a dome in these plans.

So far it's not looking like the rebuilding year that most were hoping for!

A couple of weeks ago a Cal Poly poster on Any Given Saturday reported that they had heard the Cal Poly/UND game was also on for this next year. If I remember correctly it is in that same 2008 schedules thread that was posted earlier. One would assume that they will try to get the California schools to only have to travel to the Dakotas once each year and have the other Dakota school at home. USD will be at Cal Poly, and we will be at UC Davis this next year. So can we assume that the Cal Poly game will be at home and USD will be on the road? SUU home @ UC Davis Cal Poly home (?) @ USD (?) That would put USD's schedule as @SUU @Cal Poly UC Davis home UND home

Idaho State has confirmed the game: ISU Bengals Website While we are at it, let's schedule some volleyball games with them. They also had a tough year only winning 6 matches.

I contacted the Ralph and they did have a few suites available for this season. However, none of them would work out for us as far as dates. (There is still one available for the Fri. Gopher game!) So if anyone hears of a suite that would be available for a game please let me know.

That would be great. Hopefully this is a home-and-home and something can be worked out.

I went to the doctor yesterday and he told me I have bronchitis. I'm still going to the game! (thank god it's indoors)

In order for this program to get turned around they are going to have to learn how to win some of these close games.

There is a group of people that are pushing to get football back as a varsity sport at Cal State Fullerton. The Great West would obviously be about the only conference they would have to look at. Steve Mariucci, a CSUF alum, is apparently one of the big supporters behind this. There is going to be a "Town Hall Meeting" on the subject on Nov. 29th led by either their University President or their Student Body President. Bring Back Cal State Fullerton Football Online Petition CSUF Titan Message Board Look at what's posted under the football heading. haha

I saw this on FightingSioux.com last night. However, it said that the game will be on MidContinent in Grand Forks. Does anyone know for sure if it is just in Grand Forks or if it is on all MidContinent cable systems?
