October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. UND is running ads for the game encouraging people to wear pink to the game. Part of the proceeds of the game are going to Altru and breast cancer awareness in the region. I came up with the Packed in Pink on my own!

I have been trying to get on D2 for a while and haven't been able to either.

ESPN just showed clips of the LSU and Florida club Rugby teams playing a game before their football game tonight. Not a bad idea for the club teams to try and draw a few fans.

A big week coming up in the NCC! I hope to see the Al Packed in Pink! Everyone come out, wear your pink and support the Sioux as well as Breast Cancer Awareness!

I guess I got my wish. I was hoping that they would give us a game because they played a pretty much perfect game, not because our team didn't play at it's best. Either way, we got the W.

We nearly turn it over and then end up getting it at the 1 yard line. Not playing very smart right now.

A sack isn't what we needed on a third down.

I just got back from the MayvilleState/VCSU game. Close game that came down to a catch in the endzone by MSU to tie it that was ruled out of bounds as the clock ran out. I was running back to the car trying to catch scores of this game but half the time the radio feed wasn't coming through. I just got home and wasn't too surprised of the score. I expected the MSU offense to get some passing yards on us and a few points. I wasn't able to really listen to any of the first half. Has the offense been performing well? I was expecting a few more points in the first half.

I have a feeling that the starters will get rest in the second half of this game. But come playoffs and in games like UNO, the team also needs to have the experience to be able to play 4 full quarters. I don't see MSU's defense being a big problem for us but their offense seems like it could put some points on us if they play a good game. Still say we win big.

I hope Minnesota State plays a great game and gives us a challenge. We are facing a tough UNO next week and need to be as prepared as possible and know how to play a complete game. However, I see UND taking over in the second half and winning big. UND 45 MSU 27

I stopped by Memorial Stadium the other day when I was in town. They had practice going on the new turf. It looks good and upgrades like this will only help us become successful in DI. On a side note, I was disappointed to see the interlocking ND at mid-field. I don't hide the fact that I'm not a fan of the interlocking ND. With the move to DI, I'd like to see UND get a logo that can nationally be recognized as North Dakota, not Notre Dame.
