I have to agree. It would be nice to see a "sea of green" at every Sioux sporting event. I'm not much of a fan of the black and/or white jerseys. The place looked great last night and was a fun environment.

Interesting timing. The University of South Alabama just announced that they will be starting a DI football program. Per NCAA rules, they must start as a FCS program for a few years before transitioning up to DI FBS. USA's other teams already play in the Sun Belt and once they get their football program up and running and transitioned to FBS it will also play in the Sun Belt. University of South Alabama football

OK I signed up and purchased SiouXtra. First time using it. My video is great but I don't have any audio. Do I have to play the audio seperate or is it streamed with the video?

The ladies lost 5-1 this afternoon to bring their record to 3-11-4.

This is definately a series that the Sioux ladies should be very competitive in. MSU is in 6th place just ahead of the Sioux. If we want to move this program at least into the middle of the WCHA they need to be taking as many points as possible in series like this.

I have to agree with Jim. If/when the name is changed, fans haning on to the Sioux name is going to do nothing but create confusion with other schools fans, media, etc. If/when a new name and logo comes about, it would be best for all to jump on the bus and help to start building some brand recognition.

I like the fact that the logo is a little more simple than others they have had recently. But I have to say it is a little blah. It will be interesting to see what the Frozen Four logo turns out to be.

I am sure the neighbors heard me laughing the first time I watched it. Then I realized that my laptop was on MUTE and watched it a second time. I am sure hockeymom could hear me laughing all the way in Finley. HAHA

The lower level in that picture looks like it could seat what? Possibly 20-25,000. That's not an unreasonable place to start. Build the lower level horse-shoe to include all of the locker rooms, weight rooms, video rooms, study rooms, training rooms, etc. And it looks like there is an open plaza inside of those arches. I am sure that the whole second level is more of a best case scenario of what could be added on someday. And having a covered plaza would sure be nice on those inclement weather days. I doubt showing these plans to potential recruits would really hurt either.

No real "Breaking News" here but still interesting to read. The D-I debate: Who will USD play?

I'm not going to be one of those fans that instantly calls for a coaches job. I believe that new coaches should be given time to rebuild programs. I also understand that he didn't exactly take over a highly successful program and was brought in rather late to do any real recruitting for his first season. We saw alot of close games with some rather good teams last year. This off season he was able to bring in a few JuCo transfers and his system should be well in place by now. Alot of fans have been excited about the possibilites for the team this season. I don't see any reason why fans shouldn't expect to see some forms of improvement this year. Granted, it is still VERY early in the season, but so far I haven't been real impressed. I just hope that as the season goes on I will see more and more things to be excited about.
