I think a split is coming soon for WF with 33 girls on the JV and Varsity this year and 13 at 15U. In the 40's with their 12U teams so a few years likely. I don't think they are quite at the numbers level that the Bismarck girls are. Roughly 50 between the two Varsity girls teams in Bismarck right now amongst St. Mary's, Century, BHS, Legacy, and Shiloh. They have 15U/14U with almost 30 girls collectively. *Edit, I see that the 12U levels at Bismarck are a tad low for feeding two teams in the future. Unless they move girls up to the 14U that won't get much out of playing 12U.

That was the pipe dream from what I'm told in the rumor mill. Tried to use Park Christian as their way into section 6A (the weakest conference now that Alexandria is in AA), but that was denied by the MSHSL.

Exactly, and unfortunately in the transfer portal world they'll just find a school that will let them come in right away and struggle through the first year.

I looked up a few of Minot's good underclassmen from last year and a good chunk of them are gone. Keller, Roteliuk, Packuluk, Deshamp. Not sure who the guy in the net for them is this year. Olson losing Fylling and the best d man in the state hurts as well. My sleeper team is Mandan for the WDA title. Return a good goalie, and play with an edge.

Some rosters released and I see that Deziel is at Central this year, which all but wraps it up for them unless the team gets busted at a UND party near the original Red Pepper on a weekend. Still too early call for who makes state, but.... WDA-Century, Mandan, Minot, Legacy EDC-Central, Red River, WFHS, and Davies. Some newcomers to watch in the EDC are Marto for Central, and Fitzpatrick for Sheyenne. Both likely gone after this season I'd assume.

And with the analytics, when it comes down to it, the Twins shouldn't have bunted with Chuck Knoblauch in the tenth inning of game 7 of the World Series that season. Rookie of the year bunting in that situation took out the possibility of what could have been a 3 or 4 run inning for them. On a lighter note, I know they are big on the XGA. My question is, does it make a difference if @Oxbow6 has the puck shooting it in a prime scoring position, or either of the Plante brothers? Guessing by his handicap on the golf course I'm guessing its #ferdaoxbow.

Whenever he's back (hopefully Saturday) I expect him to play out his days running the rock like a man possessed. A kid that has run the ball less when healthy but accepted the role and was unfortunately injured. He is a kid that I'll miss seeing on Saturdays.

I'd think that you've got to have playoff mindset going into Saturday. Then again, the rabbits are reeling right now, and are in the same scenario where they've got to win the game to get in. Earlier in the year I thought SDSU may struggle with the changes made, but they proved me wrong and got to 7-0. Shows the importance of quality QB play and how it just goes so far in your entire team mentality. You hate how one injury can have such a big effect on a team, but they are exhibit A right now. Back to back nights end of second period lapses cost them. Didn't see what the draws were but not having Rickwood hurt a bit there I imagine. You can't get in the habit of getting hot goalied. First time we've seen it this year. Lets just be above outshooting teams something terrible and losing.
