I was wrestling with a two year old in a hotel lobby.......why was it not a goal?

First time seeing the Sioux live this year.....some thoughts: ~Last time I saw the green helmets and breezers live was 1996....December to be exact....against BU. I like em. ~Our passing game was crap. Guys couldn't catch a pass to save their lives at times. ~Clark was pretty good. But if he can go Zane tomorrow. Saturdays haven't been Clark's thing..... ~LaDue might be a 30 minute guy in two years. He might be UND's toughest d man to play against. ~The new zone entry on the power play worked. Attack with speed. Got a pp goal, and actually had some zone time. ~Young goalies everywhere saw what you can do to destroy your teams chances in the first period of a game. The Sioux always win on my birthday. Well, at least two years in a row.

Just win baby! For one, I can't believe that former UND player's kids wouldn't go to UND....Zombo.....Archibald.....now a Morelli of all people going to UNO? As soon as UND officials knew Blais was coming back to amateur hockey he should have become the coach of UND, and Hak relegated back to Sioux City. Think of UND's team now. Zombo, Archibald, Guentzel (because Blais would have convinced him to play at UND, even though his dad coaches the gophers). Geaudreau, McCabe, Fasching, Kerdiles, Sam Brittain, Dowd, Butcher. UND wouldn't have these no namers like St. Clair, Pattyn, Rodwell. Grimadli would be on the fourth line, and we wouldn't even be talking about Tambelini because he wouldn't have made the JV squad. PS: And UND would still be the Fighting Sioux. Dean wouldn't have let that change either.

Wish I could watch this game somewhere. The one time I wish I had Dish.

I'll be at the ralph this weekend cheering on the fellas. Going to buy the kid a new jersey, that he said he'll pick out! (He's two). Going to take him around between periods and show him some of the pictures and talk about some of the greats now that he can understand a bit more. Going to buy an overpriced beer....or two. Will stop at the Red Pepper at some point in time to have myself a Taco and a Grinder. Will probably stop by the EDC tournament going on over at the Purp as well. Most importantly, whether they're in first place or last place....playing like crap, or knocking down walls...I'll enjoy the hell out of watching Fighting Sioux hockey. Can't wait! PS: would do a beer tower at rumors, but the wife is pregnant, so she'd be no help, and I've become a lightweight....

Good point. As long as Zane is on the bench it's Clark's team. Obviously the freshman isn't ready. Lot of spectators tonight for UND. We can throw the goalie under the bus all we want, but he wasn't the only one not pulling his weight. Where was Rocco? Luke? Simpson? Schmaltz? Win as a team lose as a team.

That Omaha group is pretty skilled and you have to play better against them in your own end. If your goaltender has a bad night against them its lights out. I mean what team gives up six to SCSU and wins? I have a feeling UNO and UND meet again this year. A ton, and I mean a ton of stuff to correct in the film room.

UND not doing themselves any favors by taking frustration penalties at the end here.

Turning point in the game. UND is up 3-1 and rolling, and Clark drops the puck and its a goal for Omaha to make it 3-2. Came right after UND nearly made it 4-1. Though if Clark hadn't played well last night we're talking about an ofer weekend. This team has come back down to earth a little bit since going on a run splitting their last four games.

And Pattyn just took a real bad penalty.

I think what this tells us is that Hrynkiw isn't ready whatsoever for getting thrown into the fire that is a college hockey game.

As great as he was last night, Clark just doesn't have it tonight. Hope the rest of the fellas can pick it up and win the next period. Would love to see the freshman goalie here in the third.....but he's a freshman so likely to be protected.

A breakaway in the last minute fellas......5-3 Should be a goal, even though there was contact with Clark. PS: Hrynikiw in the third period if this is a goal.

Rodwell's line was all over Omaha's top unit there. Rodwell was just a beast.... Powerplay for UND....

And the Mavs have just taken over here. 4-3. Simpson has to pick him up there in front. What a game....
