1-1 after two. Its been all Central, with Minot's goaltender playing extremely well.

1-0 Minot after the first period. Central buzzing the Minot end, but Minot got out of the period and will start the second on the power play. Bismarck 7, West Fargo 1.......one west team in the final.

Great performance on the road. Weathered in the first period, then took control in the second and third period. That Zane can show up any time.

Whatever they are doing in EGF to promote youth development in hockey is working. We normally played EGF pretty close at the youth levels and even into high school, but now they are just on another planet. Guess it helps to have names like Poolman and Eades suiting up for you at the high school level. But like SiouxScore mentioned, the youth levels in EGF are having success as well.

That would be a battle with Moorhead, Roseau, and Warroad battling it out in 8AA to go to the state tournament.

Thanks for helping to explain. Yes, I got outplayed by a little French Canadian freshman named Phil.... On a side note, that was when the tournament was still at the old Ralph, and Central's student section was EPIC. Wish the crowds were close to what they used to be.

Nope he wouldn't have been. It was back in the year 2000. I wasn't on that really good Minot team. I was saying that the 2005 team isn't the only team that choked. We choked as well.

Ask a lot of players over the years from Minot about that. We were tied with Central 1-1 in the third period when they had a little freshman named Phil in the net. Two turnovers.....two goals. We choked too. Long time coming for Minot.

22 years since Minot found a way in the quarters......unreal.
