I'm not sure why he was so upset in the second period. His team was on the powerplay half the time. I think it may have affected his team a little bit. They got rattled by it in the first period and gave up the goal after he freaked out. Just didn't have the same jump 5-5 they did right away in the game.

I think we've all said it....now the onus is on a complete weekend. Need to find a way to win tomorrow night. A win tomorrow night and the group is .500 heading into next weekend with Northern. Baby steps fellas.

Pattyn-Rodwell-Gaarder reminds me of Canady-McMahon-Fylling. Guys with some maturity that can dominate at time with physicality and good hockey sense. Now if Pattyn decides to stay out of the box....

Here is what I'm thinking. ~DUI in 2012......You watch your actions from now on Mr. Hardee ~Lost license, needed to get it figured out. ~Didn't get it figured out, lied to AD about it. ~Drove collegiate athletes around without a license. ~Got into a motor vehicle accident driving around collegiate athletes and fled the scene, likely because he knew he didn't have a license. And thus he got strike two which is what lead him to resign before he was fired.

If alcohol was involved he needs to be fired. Unacceptable to be driving student athletes under the influence.

So if he is guilty does he get fired?

To quote a fan base we know too well around here. "We will wait until he gets his day in court". At least our AD acted on it and didn't call him a victim.

What a comedy of errors that football game. Even at the end. Why didn't the Vikings run the clock down to like 2 seconds and then try the kick? First time in my life I've hoped that a kicker beat the Vikings with a kick. They win, but at what cost.

^^^^Good post. With the new league settup UND may be required to win the NCHC tournament to make the NCAA's if their inconsistent play continues. Its probably easier to win the NCHC than it has been the WCHA F5. Get there. Win two games in two days against teams who have all had equal the rest you have had.

Hope the Vikings lose out....but what in the HE double hockey sticks is Rhett Ellison doing in the game at that spot? Just lose out....no reason to win.
