  1. I've followed him and Nigel Dawes quite a bit with Astana. Has really done well over there, and kind of unique that he and Nigel Dawes played for Kazakhstan at the world championships. Glad to see he's the captain, not sure how long he has held that title there.
  2. There will be some penalty minutes, but imagine having to play against that line. Admittedly don't know much about Mishmash, but Schloss said he plays with an edge. 1. RPM 2. Bowen-Janatuinen-Gersich 3. Hoff-Wilkie-Kawaguchi 4. Simo-Smith-Olson Call me stupid (I am), but I think Wilkie takes off next year if he is back. And if he doesn't then Gornall, Adams, or Jones is there.
  3. My top line.....Rhett-Mismash-Pogo Other lines can form as they please, but Simo-Olson-Smith was one of the best lines at the end of the year. They played a lot against other team's top units and even found their way on the score sheet. Plus Olson said for sure on twitter that he is coming back!!!!! No word on Simo or Smith, but I've got sources that say expect them on campus next fall....
  4. If money man would have ever figured out his skating I believe he would have had a career in the NHL. NHL shot and release for sure.
  5. Another reason that the Avs are having a tremendous run. I'd have him on the blue line the day after that national championship if I was the Avs. That is if they have a game that day.
  6. Wait, when did college hockey guru PCM come back?
  7. I think Wolanin is probably the most skilled guy on the team right now. If I was the staff I'd use him all over the place. On the PP you can use him on top as the trigger man if you are running the umbrella, and I'd use him as a forward off the wall if you are running overload. Box and 1, he could play anywhere. He could be what Will Butcher is to Denver for us if he gets better defensively.
  8. So the goaltending is set for next year. Defensively I think they'll be better next year. 1. Poolman-Bast 2. Peski-Wolanin 3. Shaw-Johnson Rieger, Chartrand, Kiersted
  9. Better question, if Tucker doesn't come back who wears the C?
  10. Are you talking about on the ice or Walsh Hall? I'm thinking Bowen becomes more of a contributor, or Hoff if he could stay healthy.
  11. So now that Jost is gone, and probably Pogo on the forward front.....the way too early look at possible line combos: Gersich-Rhett-Mismash Janatuinen-Hoff-Bowen Smith-Simonson-Olson Adams, Jones, Yon, Kawaguchi, Wilkie, Gornall......
  12. Congratulations to Tyson on realizing your dream. Tough to say I'd stay in college with an NHL jersey dangled in front of my face. Next man up, like it's always been.
  13. So does Winnipeg make a hard push then for Tucker knowing he could become a free agent next year (ala Vesey) and take a chance on a guy with a torn up shoulder? Or do they say play a your senior year and have the contract waiting outside of the locker room at the XCEL energy center after the championship game of the NCAA frozen four? How long are an individuals rights owned by a team again? I guess that will be a big factor.
  14. 1. Denver 2. Norte Dame 3. Harvard 4. Duluth
  15. Although they have zero teams in the frozen four, the Big Ten hockey conference is probably the most prestigious conference in the country.
  16. Absolutely. Whose job is it to help institutions like Minot State, Iowa State, Illinois, or a U of Colorado get going towards full DI membership? I'm guessing no ones. I'll hang up and listen.
  17. My god....you and that siouxvikes guy....obsessed with Mafia...jeez...scary.
  18. Frozen four set. Should be some good hockey.
  19. Might have been a charge there. Left his feet.
  20. Congrats to coach Montgomery and the Pioneer. Class group.
  21. I think if you asked Pogo he wouldn't be happy with his year. He has developed quite a bit since he got to UND but I thought he'd for sure be around the 40-50 point area when the season got over with. Good luck if you do go Pogo.
  22. Stop sniffing the glue....or your fingers....whatever helps.... Why do I keep replying to a troll.....why?
  23. No, for the last 100 years Yankee and Red Sox fans have been arrogant and obviously homophobic if you ask John W.
  24. You know what that word means right? Right? Whoops, troll, my bad. Shouldn't have even responded.
