I was hoping JC would go on a run in the tournament and we would see an all North Dakota matchup at some point. Good for them for making the tournament in season #2.

In local non DI college hockey Minot State knocks off Rick Zombo's Lindenwood team and is headed to face Iowa State in the ACHA national championship tomorrow night. Wish I had another college team in North Dakota to follow in the playoffs but.......yeah.

Would love to see Mankato in the NCHC. The beavers.......meh......

Buddy of mine in the cities went and he said MAYBE.....MAYBE 5,000 total butts in seats..... NCHC will take a hit with this. Is the solution to go the way of other conferences with one game playoffs at home venues after quarters? I member an amazing college hockey postseason tournament once in St. Paul.....a three day festival of beer, hockey, Allarys, Tom Reid's burgers, and 2 AM breakfast at that place that Charlie Conway's mom worked.....sigh.....

Look at that....BC can win and make the tournament tomorrow. Fun. Conference tournament time in college hawkey and the only hopes I had today was pee yellow and green uniforms didn't upset coach K......

For the sake of college hockey I hope people show up and get the building half full. This is why regionals need to be held on campus at the one seed home arena.

The trophy wife line is so true it hurts. I've thought the exact same thing walking the concourse between periods. A few years ago a lady in a Toews Jersey scowled at the fact the band was marching in the hallways between periods..... Those dumb college kids and their instruments....
