Love what Tommy has done. Great kid, a winner. I give the keys to the offense to 6'4 230. He will have his growing pains, but his ability to run can diversify the offense to new levels.

I think others have said what needs to be said. What the guy did for college hockey was fantastic. Even after he got a "change of scenery" at the U of M he was still the team's biggest fan. Met him at a coaching clinic and gave him some hell about a Nodak kid getting Minnesota over the hump and he was a really good sport about it. Loved to talk hockey anywhere, anytime.

So was the play in question reviewed by the booth officials or did they just keep playing? Hey! We beat Montana State with half our defense hurt, and they're a final four team. Why only 14,000 at the dome? Doesn't it hold 19? Did they catch our attendance virus?

RIP to the Wooger. Hated us, we hated him, but there was always a mutual respect. Boy did he want to win a natty with an entire team of Minnesotans. Didn't get it done, but came ohh so close.

Very well said. Would you be more in the market for an RPO type kid that runs it better than he chucks it or a sit back in the pocket kid? Hopefully at least one new QB is on campus for spring ball.

This makes a ton of sense. What more can they accomplish in FCS? I have a ton of friends that are NDSU fans (and my brother was in the Gold Star Marching Band) and we talk about NDSU moving up a lot. Looks like Appalachian State has had success, no reason NDSU can't get to that point.

The kid could start at a lot of places in the P5. It's a CREDIT to how good of a player and a person he is. Or I guess blind hatred.....

I don't hate NDSU enough to go on their fansite and jump all over a comment based on what other players in FCS have done in the past. Are you dumb, or just did a bad crop piss on your holiday?

PJ is in the big ten title game with Trey at QB. Morgan is a great student of the game, but not near the athlete that Trey is. Minnesota would be unreal at the RPO if they had a QB that could keep it and run for fifteen.

I'm 100 percent against fighting just to fight.....stupid. I'd rather watch a game without a fight 99 times out of 100. When it turns into one team taking runs and the reffs doing nothing to prevent them from taking the runs then it's up to the players. What would Commie do??

You just knew......as soon as it got to 3-0 they take a run at Michaud.....then they actually played hockey for a while until their push didn't get them back in the game and before you know it its 5-1 and then we've got head locks and guys getting run from behind....

Great sweep. That game is the reason fighting needs to be allowed in college hockey. Anyone who knows anything about Murray and Western knows that there was going to be a lot of dumb stuff in the third period. Instead of the game policing itself its take free runs at people until you cross the line on a play where you have a kid get decked from behind after you already had a nasty charging major earlier.

Don't let up. They're gonna take runs, they're gonna get embarrassed.

All because the officials let it go earlier..... Dangerous and stupid.

Scheel just composed and in the zone all game. He'd probably tell you he was okay at Mariucci, not great, and sometimes as a goalie your team scores enough to where you don't have to be great. He was the difference in a big road win. I'll say it again.....when this team's season is over someone is getting one helluva hockey player in Colton Poolman.....
