You and I have coached long enough to know the battle of winning a game with 6 forwards and 4 D. TV timeouts will help, but the 2-3 minute shifts don't help things.
Boys tournament kicks off today at REA. The first and last games probably not much to write home about, but the 2:30 and 5:30 games have the opportunity to be good games.
Not so difficult prediction for Saturday night......We will have the Roughriders playing the Knights.
There will be ND state tournaments this year with security guards after what happened at one of the tournaments last year (Fargo parents involved with that one too....surprise.....).
I watched the live barn video of the incident. As soon as I saw the Grand Forks players go in front of the Fargo parents I knew it was going to reach a new level.
I would have a tough time holding it together if an idiot put their hands on my kid after a hockey game. Man.....
According to the NDAHA website this year there will be play in games as B1 will be an 8 team tournament. The top five teams automatically qualify, while the 6 vs. 11, 7 vs. 10, and 8 vs. 9 play it out at home sites.
Completely agree. Fill the high school teams first, then put out your JG team. Hopefully the Jr. Gold has cleaned up a little bit since the days of the police having to separate people in the lobby and parents getting suspended from arenas because of harassing officials.
I thought this as well. When I played Nate Ziegelman was a dude. Best player in the state, yes on a loaded team. Thankfully the decision makers got that one right. Lot of people pissed because he didn't see a ton of rubber, like 12 shots a game. Didn't mean he wasn't the best player.
Keller likely gone either way. Impressive season for the young man.
