They have playoffs against Sioux Falls Power next weekend in Sioux Falls. Rotates each year between Sioux Falls, and wherever ND picks, normally Fargo. 14U, 15O, and 16U teams play against the Power in a best of three series. Last year only team to get to nationals was 15O. Names you may recognize would be Quamme (GFC), Ulmer (RR), Jackson(RR), Larson (GPR), Suda (Formerly GPR). Eckart (Century), Clausen (GFC), Panzer (GFC).

Team ND is always over matched. I was at the 15O tournament at Scheels and you've got teams like Chicago Mission, Little Caesars, Bishop Kearney, Shattuck. Extremely skilled teams who have been practicing and playing together each day since September, going against kids who have had a couple weekends to prep for the Sioux Falls Power for the best of three series that Sioux Falls shouldn't lose. Team ND played eventual national champion Chicago Mission in pool play and got beat 8-1. Shots weren't terrible, but I think the biggest issue was the speed of the game. That and AJ Garcia, Victor Plante, and Jack Hextall just to name a few.

Yep. Watertown. Heard he has family there, so an easy transition to finish out the year, but from what I've heard he may have other options.

And honorable mention to the young lady in the net for WF United, who was the reason her team beat GF, and was in the ship to begin with. Otto very deserving of tournament MVP.

I have not. Spoke to his head coach as well and he didn't really know what the plans were.

Good young WF goalie on that AA team. He could've been the guy for Sheyenne this year. Horace kid though, so if they have a team in 2 years he's a flight risk unless he "open enrolls" elsewhere.

Jr. Lot of em on that WF team. If he came back they may be able to compete with what will be a loaded Central team next year. I'm hearing he heads to Watertown with Sproule, or Ontario Junior Hockey League.

Our first round playoff location comes down to this weekend, possibly Saturday night. According to noted NCHC standings expert @brianvf, we need at least 5 points against the red cows or they finish ahead of us in the league and a likely trip for us to beautiful Magness arena for our season to come to an end. I'm still wondering how the group got two points at Lawson with the whole 4 shots in 30 minutes of hockey BS. They did however, and our friends from Stearns county hot goalied the Pios and we sit tied with them. Would've been better for our on again off again team had Denver won that game and then swept CC to finish in 3rd place and we take our chances with the Mavs in a best of five series. All I know about the red cows is they've got a great backwards goalie in Latkoczy. They are dead in the pairwise water like another local team I know, but could finish top three in the league. Survey says, lose Friday, win Saturday. Plane ride to Denver Thursday. Or do we go Wednesday?

You guys are fun to watch, and the wrong team ended up with 2 points last night, or points at all for that matter. I'm hoping we don't see you guys if we make the NCHC with you.

Gotta give a tip of the cap to the young man in the net for Red River. Rough start to his season, but took the net and had a nice region and state tournament.

I get it's a home broadcast, but you've got to watch it with a clear mind.
