Offense turns it over and the defense has no answers. Not a good combo. This is just ugly football.

Next season will hinge on the offense. The defense should be solid to fantastic and better at every position with the possible exception of strong safety. Some positions will be night and day better(ILB). The offense needs to be more explosive. Determining who will be the next qb and using the offensive playmakers we have in a much more productive way will be huge. The oline should be better at every position also. Bubba get the offense figured out and we will be the rags to riches story in FCS.

It worked out because the defense and specials stepped up a bit but mostly because PSU O is BAD.

Wtf? Grade school mistakes

For next season and beyond, this is an important game today. We win today and there is a chance for 4-7 or even 5-6. Lose today and we are staring down 2-9. 5-6 is miles from 2-9 when it comes to recruiting, fan support and overall direction of the program. Will be much tougher to build an injury case at 2-9 than at 5-6 for prospective 2019 recruits.

How is your mobility and tackling. Probably could use you at ILB if you have a little "girth".

The offense has not compensated for the injuries and problems along the offensive line nor the injuries and change in the defense. The ball control, grind it out offense needs to adapt when the Oline is not getting push and also when the other team is scoring in 3 plays is gaining 10 yards a rush. When the other team is scoring points in bunches, you can't run it off tackle for 2 yards and then think you will complete a pass when the QB is running for his life because everyone knows you have to pass. I also think the DC needs to be able to adjust the defense to who he has to play. Take more chances, at points this season we really have had nothing to lose with some of the guys we have been lining up on d. The lack of OC and DC adjustments, along with the rate of injuries, the number of illnesses and the dismissals are all issues that need to be dealt with head on starting on the 13th of November. Too many guys not focused on football. I understand if the lack of focus is on God, family or the classroom but I don't think that is always the problem.
