I agree. It reached a tipping point after last season IMO. Now Bubba and co need to reel it back in. We have players not playing today who are not injured. One guy is recovering from pneumonia and one guy did not practice all week. Nobody seems to know why. Will not be easy.

I don't think the season could have gone as predicted with the off field problems.

The culture is a train wreck and it has severely divided the team.

This issue needs to be examined thoroughly after the season. There has been more wrong than just bad luck. Bubba trying to get control back.

Its all about ball control. UND controls ball for over 32 minutes and we win, anything less we lose. We will struggle in the usual spots stopping the qb and the inside run. Oline is getting better and hopefully can have enough charge to protect Studs, and get JS, BO, and JJ some room to run. UND gets an early lead and hangs on 41-38.

There have been so many plays like that this season....just momentum killers. Rastas, Neverman, Richman giving their all but in reality without the injuries I see Rastas as backup as a jr and sr and never a starter, and Neverman and Richman as never seeing the field other than ko cover. I would think on that play with Rastas in position, if that is O'brien, Rodgers, Hunt or Larson that is a gain of 1-2 yards or maybe even a loss. Same thing is happening in the secondary although I am not sure the dropoff has been so abrupt.

Have heard it is really weak. Not sure if that is because of injuries or what. Hopefully is all being evaluated.

I don't see any dline with the possible exception of bennett that can move even close to fast enough for ILB. Would be fine if the other team NEVER passed or ran wide but i don't think the Grizzlies would oblige. Not sure if you guys noticed but on one of the UNC touchdown runs Rastas was way too slow to make the tackle and Neverman was spun around a couple times trying to make the tackle. Your point on wake and bake is spot on. The other part of this that puzzles me is how so many young people(under 25) think smoking is like having a soda pop.

Team needed some mojo after a terrible last month. They fought and won. A win is a win.

23 of the 44 in the 2-deep yesterday were frosh, rfrosh or sophs. On one hand tells why the team has been struggling, on the other hand bodes well for the recruiting of the staff and the future of Hawk football.

That wa a great win for Bubba and the program. Guys played hard, offense was great overall, except IMO when you have JJ and BO and a line that is getting push pound the rock at the goal line. Defense is still struggling, but kept fighting and got it done. Taht is probably close to the defense we will have for the rest of the season. Score 30 without turnovers and we win, score 40plus with turnovers. Kickoff and kickoff receive need lots of work too. Blueprint for the rest of the season. I think Bubba is trying to right the ship on the off field crap. The more taht gets cleaned up, the better the team will perform, this season and the following seasons. Tons of talent in the so, rfr, and tfr classes, need to keep it all focused and here. Go hawks!

It will come. It will take some time. A few very big games and a couple very big seasons. Need the last two home games to be good games. As I have said before I think Kennedy has big ideas for the university and its athletic programs. A huge part of that success will have to change me from an engaged student body. It will happen.

I have to say I was thinkIng the same thing. Next year the defense may be very tough and very deep. Find a qb and get a solid two deep on the line. Could be quite a ride.

Not a bad crowd considering coming in 1-4, getting blown out last 3 games, a beautiful day to be outside and the off field drama this week. Eventually need students more engaged for the whole game.
