Offense gets off to great start. Alerus is packed and loud. Defense is dominant. UND 34-10, 24-3 at the half.

I don't think we can underestimate the importance this will play this season. Give the guys a few days of "downtime", to rest mentally and physically.

After victory at SHSU, and the first 3 quarters @ UW, UND is definitely a top 15 FCS team. Probably will not work that way in the polls though.

I agree with you, would love to have UND in BSC. Big sky should be the 4 dakota schools, 2 Montana schools and 2 idaho schools, and possibly EWU and PSU.

UND gained a bunch of confidence @ UW. Front 6 on O and 7 on D held there own and really !@#$ down Washington running game for 3 quarters(Gaskin 11-13 yards late in 1st half). We will see what that translates into but if we can run the ball and stop SHSU run we will win.

That's it, there is no way UND can compete with all those FBS transfers......... Maybe a better question is how many of UND's players would be playing FBS football if they didn't play their high school football in Minnesota, North Dakota, Canada or Wisconsin? If Santiago or Oliviera had played high school football in Dallas does anyone think they would be playing FCS football?

It was third down and that is exactly what happened.

Watched the game again. If we score before the half we have a chance. Gaskin 10 carries for 13 yards with :42 seconds to go in first half. There was an opportunity. Great job front seven in first half on defense. Wow.
