Yesterday's game gets an F from a coaching standpoint but if Bubba would be removed after going 7-4 or even 6-5, who exactly would be anxious to jump in here and coach?

Barring total collapse and losing out, Chaves will not get rid of Bubba but should force Bubba's hand on OC and STC.

I agree completely. With the development of the OL and our offensive weapons we should be putting up far more yards and points. Kett seems to have all the tools but his development this season has been highly suspect. He knows where he is going based on the pre-snap read and never looks anyone off. Both of his TD's to Maag yesterday could have been picks. Especially on the second one, he lookeded at Maag the whole way. The other part of the offense that is making me crazy is the play calling. So often we seem to run and when we should pass and pass when we should run. When was the last time our TE's were targeted more than once or twice in a game? They are part of the under-utilized weapons for sure. Why take the deep shot to Maag yesterday with the lead in the 4th qtr?(plus he was hurt on play) It was starting to feel like idaho could not stop Brady from getting 10 yards on 3 runs. Stay with it.

We are close to being 7-2 and 7-1 vs FCS. Special Teams and OC need to change.

The Idaho loss is on the coaches. Up 27-17 with 12:37 to go in the 4th. UND defense forces a punt. 1st and 10 at UND 32 with 10:08 to go in the game, Idaho is down by 2 scores. You have to work at losing that game. On the punt block we don't even have max protection on and anyone with half a brain can see they are coming after the punt. Call a frickin' TO. This loss is ALL on the coaches.

If Kett waited til the play clock was at 1 second and took a knee on every play after the blocked punt we probably win but especially on the last drive before their game winner. The incomplete pass cost UND 30-45 seconds or saved Idaho a time-out. The 4 incompletions saved Idaho 1.5-2 minutes. Horrible play calling with a lead in that situation.

When you have a lead, your top 4 receivers are out and you refuse to target the TE’s, it does not take Bill Belechik to figure out you should run the ball and milk the clock.

I agree. Every FCS loss is a win with minor x’s and o’s changes and major special teams overhauls . We are close but some changes need to be made. i am sure there had to be some players with basic football knowledge that were questioning the play calling after the blocked punt. At that point if we run every play and Kett stretches the play clock out on every play, we escape Moscow with a win today.

Kett has not progressed this season as a qb but that is not the reason we gave this game away. It was basic game management and specials in the 4th quarter on the road. The frickin’ game was over and incompetence lost the game.

We didn’t need to make playscanymore in the clutch. We needed to be able to get a punt off and run the ball with a 27-17 lead and the game was over, Idaho was toast. Nope. We f’d it up.

The game was in hand and then the blocked punt. AFTER the blocked punt we threw 4 incomplete passes with the lead. If those are runs we win. DUMB! DUMB! DUMB! This game was lost by the coaches.
