Execution is much more important than scheme. I have thought that alot the last two weeks about Larson and Donnell, it seems like they spend so much time running around and backing downfield into coverage, sometimes 20-30 yards downfield. Does not seem to be the best way to utilize those two guys.

Rewatching the game, the terrible first series after the fumble recovery was huge. If we punch it in after the TO what are the chances we win by 2-4 tds? Have to take advantage of those situations. Again that is all in Rudy and Specials.

I agree with this. Solid OC and specials and this team is 7-2 or even 8-1 and worrying about seeding as opposed to just getting in.

I am not disagreeing, we could certainly be stronger in many spots, but without the Kett brain fart vs ISU we win that game. Weber was winnable and Idaho Bubba and staff pissed it away. Could very well be 8-1. Which team have you watched this season in FCS without some holes? It’s why if we could make it in, we could win a few games.

If we win out, we probably will deserve to be in playoffs. Independence will not help.

I’m not so sure. If our special team are solid, Kett is improved each week, and the play calling was better, team could be 8-1 and ranked #2 to NDAC.

Technically Bubba is a winner. You are after a “national championship” coach. Too many holes in present staff to win a national championship.

Yesterday's game gets an F from a coaching standpoint but if Bubba would be removed after going 7-4 or even 6-5, who exactly would be anxious to jump in here and coach?

Barring total collapse and losing out, Chaves will not get rid of Bubba but should force Bubba's hand on OC and STC.

I agree completely. With the development of the OL and our offensive weapons we should be putting up far more yards and points. Kett seems to have all the tools but his development this season has been highly suspect. He knows where he is going based on the pre-snap read and never looks anyone off. Both of his TD's to Maag yesterday could have been picks. Especially on the second one, he lookeded at Maag the whole way. The other part of the offense that is making me crazy is the play calling. So often we seem to run and when we should pass and pass when we should run. When was the last time our TE's were targeted more than once or twice in a game? They are part of the under-utilized weapons for sure. Why take the deep shot to Maag yesterday with the lead in the 4th qtr?(plus he was hurt on play) It was starting to feel like idaho could not stop Brady from getting 10 yards on 3 runs. Stay with it.

We are close to being 7-2 and 7-1 vs FCS. Special Teams and OC need to change.
