This forum is really weird. Certain members will bring it up solely to hate on it. Idalski killed the team by underperforming with an inflated budget (compared to other WCHA teams). Still, the WIH players have good reason to be mad. The school went through several rounds of cuts and specifically said WIH was protected. Then after Kennedy said cuts were done in his tenure, he opens cuts one more time and cuts WIH. Don't get me wrong, the other cut teams have reason to be mad too. Kennedy really mishandled the situation. Schafer really wasn't much better.

It's diminished in the PW (2/3) if it's an OT win (1/3 for OT loss). It matters to some degree but going into the weekend we had a 2% chance of an at large bid so it's not impossible, but the conference tournament is more likely at this point in time.

Every game is a must win at this point for any chance at an AL bid. They got to play like it.

I agree with giving him at chance, but maybe not against this team. Also, how many goals does he have to give up before you realize it's not his night?

No system is perfect. People complain about the Frozen 4 seeding and Final 4 seedings too. However this FCS process is clearly broken. The last team in shouldn't be able to bribe its way in and then get to host on top of that.

Here's a thought, the NCAA shouldn't entertain bids regardless. The better team should just host.

This team is so frustrating. Almost every game we've lost was winnable.

We do...but we can't split every weekend and expect to get into the ttournament. We need to get some sweeps.

They're like the Vikings were under Zimmer. Every game is close, even the games that shouldn't be.

I'm not sure about that. Conference is a distant 3rd in OOC records so far this year. That could hurt our pairwise at the end of the season. As a conference we might not get our normal 4-6 teams in. Long story short, we need to start sweeping opponents, ideally in regulation, or we're going to have a stressful February and March.

Got tickets to this game. It'll be my first time watching any UND team play in person in 9 years.

The NCHC did poorly last week too. Could come back to bite us in the pairwise if teams (us included) don't turn it around.
