  1. Also, 7'6" Wingspan. He's got pterodactyl arms.
  2. Nigerian immigrant who played basketball growing up, he didn't put on a helmet until he got to U of Manitoba in the fall of 2020. Extremely raw kid, but someone with tons of potential.
  3. Northwestern had some of the slowest linebackers I've ever seen, and SIU was able to cook them with tight end passes across the middle and running out wide. I'd expect our inside linebackers to step up and make those plays.
  4. Off topic, but we need to start calling our RB screen passes Freundian slips. It makes too much sense
  5. No snap issues once Lotysz got in, and I thought he held up well against an NAU defense that likes to move downhill. I also tried to pay close attention to Bryant in his first start this year, and thought he played as advertised, big bowling ball who can move some people downfield. No sacks given up, 4.5 yards/carry, very happy overall with the OL.
  6. Also, the PxP for SIU is pretty good, but his color commentator is terrible, so my advice is to get your radio synced up
  7. Looked at some plays in all three of SIUs games so far, here are some impressions: Defense is happy to give up slants all day, seems they want to keep everything underneath and avoid any bombs Two large D tackles on their line, front four wants to just stop the run, not great at getting to the QB Need to try to get receivers into space with screens and slants (hello Red) Nic Baker has been great at buying time by scrambling, sometimes runs and sometimes finds open receivers Offensive line stinks when facing pressure, so if we blitz, we have to get home Run game is nothing to be intimidated by, as long as the secondary cleans up
  8. Feel free to transfer back
  9. SIU could've had 2 more touchdowns off of turnovers, could've been a blowout. Nic Baker looked solid. Our secondary NEEDS to get on the same page.
  10. SIU's first TD a 57 yard pass, safety got lost (yikes). Other than that, like petey said, some easy scores after turnovers
  11. $50 a piece, available on ticketmaster
  12. Won't the ESPN+ feed be the home team's broadcast? I think Midco's broadcast may only be available for Midco customers.
  13. I'm wondering when/if we might see Dixon. No idea how he's performed in camp/practices, but if he's got instincts and knows the calls on defense, let's let him get his feet wet. If he doesn't work out or play well, we still can redshirt.
  14. Sorry for the delay getting the Wiki updated, should be up to date now. One thing within the o-line commits that's noticeable: some beef. Maciejczak is 6'4" 320, Folland is 6'3", 330. Probably not the weight they'll end up playing at once here, but it seems like some intentional efforts to recruit hogs.

    Polls

Montana State without its top 3 RBs yesterday, so take that score with a grain of salt, but I also don’t see them getting past the quarterfinals this year
  16. Don't worry, elevation doesn't count indoors
  17. UND 31 NAU 14 Remember to take the under in this one
  18. First tight end to catch a pass in 11 years at WSU. Glad he's found a spot in Wash
  19. Belquist hit the dining hall this week, he’ll be tough to bring down.
  20. I was able to watch some of NAU's game against Sam Houston this afternoon, some things that stuck out to me: -NAU has a solid linebacking corps, stuffed the middle well. SHSU had more success running outside -NAU's offensive line is their weakness. Really wide splits, very susceptible to stunts along the d-line -QB isn't super mobile, but can escape pressure -NAU RBs didn't get a lot of space to run, going to be important to have consistent tackles and not allow any yards after contact or bounces outside -Tough to tell how good their secondary is, Sammy's QB used his legs more than he used his arm. Definitely not as good as Schmid was slinging it
  21. I liked Maag in Rudolph's offense his freshman year, where the focus was deep passes off of play action. Even his second year, in Danny's first season as OC, we still ran a lot of power and play action. I just don't think he fits in quite as well with what UND wants to do offensively now, which is spread things around, get guys the ball in space, which is definitely a strength of guys like Bo, Red, and even Jack Wright
  22. Wiki is up to date on current offers. I had been removing other offers committed players had, I can put those back up. Wiki gets updated as soon as I can manage, thanks to those who remain patient until I can edit it.
  23. 6'1" 175 DB from Phoenix. Offer from Montana State as well
  24. Quincy Patterson is transferring from the school down south. Appears that it's Miller Time again. https://www.inforum.com/sports/bison-media-zone/mens-sports/bison-quarterback-patterson-to-transfer-from-ndsu
  25. Pretty large wing mural downtown, behind The Hub
