  1. Heard through the grapevine, Zeb transferred because he aspires to be a college football coach and thought NDSU would be a great place to learn and maybe play someday.
  2. It isn't a normal year for anyone so please don't already use that as an excuse if the thundering terds don't bring home their 291234th national championship. Everyone is losing players. That is why NDSU has been special is their recruit well and have the depth to replace those players. I've said it since the hire if anyone is going to stop this train from rolling it is Entz. Arrogance and assumptions on his part will get the best of him in the end.
  3. Easy to use the "rust" excuse, but from my observations NDSU didn't look like themselves against CA. I believe Roehl was trying too hard to showcase Lance's throwing ability and that was one of the reasons CA was in the game the entire time, but it just wasn't the dominance we have seen from them in the future. I thought their defense looked strong. #52 and #25 were the standouts in my opinion. All in all, NDSU will probably still win the MVFC as I'm sure their depth is too difficult for anyone else to overcome, but that being said it looks like a great year for UND to be entering the mighty, holy land that is the MVFC. Maybe, just maybe, we have a slight chance to hang with the best of the best every week.
  4. Grow up Peter Pan. My credentials are the same as yours, neither of us have any. What I am saying is that if I am a team in need of the QB I'm not taking him in the first round. As a matter of fact, I'm not considering any FCS player. I am looking at the blue bloods of big time D1 football where the risk is far less, rather than a team who plays Missouri State yearly. Just my thought process, but you can having your Thundering turd in Lance and I'll take Lawerence or Fields. Thanks.
  5. If Lance is a first round talent, I don't know what to think about the evaluation of college prospects anymore. Roehl was obviously trying to show case his ability as a pocket passer early and well he show cased it and in my opinion it should scare away NFL organizations that saw him as a first round pick. I am not doubting that he has the ability to play in the NFL, but he has played in a safe offense, with a dominant offensive line his whole career at NDSU which isn't his fault, but in my opinion the ability to run like he did is needed, but it is FCS talent he is running against. All in all, he's a solid QB, but NFL first rounder........
  6. I'll take it, considering it's probably a long shot they get their normal home field advantage.
  7. Class 11B looks like a dog fight to me. I see Fargo South lasting about two years in that division, as they probably won't lose a game and bump up.
  8. Here's my take, BSU is an average NSIC team that has more money than most because of success generous alumni. Maybe they should spend the money elsewhere because it certainly isn't helping their production on the field. I will admit those jerseys are great though.
  9. Is this Cochran's relative? If so, sorry, but Maag is without a doubt our "best" WR.
  10. I went last week and it was still really high, I would assume by the end of the week it will be easier to fish. I tried the South End by Adams Farm and there were a couple people fishing it, so maybe that is a spot to go back to as well.
  11. Well hey I appreciate it regardless!
  12. Awesome. I will test this out this week. Looks like my kind of place. Thank you. Would this be near Riverside Park?
  13. Any piers in GF Like that? Would love somewhere to go for an hour or so after work and just cast away.
  14. New to the GF area. Wondering where to fish the RR from shore?
  15. Nah man go look at all your post. You sh*t green and gold just like the rest of em.
  16. I'm with ya here 100%. I've heard from numerous people like 10-12 that he is not the type of person you want leading a program. Always feel for someone when they lose their job, but remember he is getting $80k as a parting gift and that is more than most make in a year.....
  17. My guess would be zero. I would guess those girls are ready for a change of scenery and most of them came for the school, chance to play D1, and overall feel for the school. I would be shocked if any of their number one reason to come to UND was Brew.
  18. I've heard numerous times that Brew was very tough to play for and not incredibly gracious towards his players. I'm far from a "everyone gets a metal" advocate, but in this day in agree athletes don't respond to getting ripped apart time and time again. Eyes were opened when Freidge left and I bet she doesn't feel too bad for the guy.....
  19. That is very true. Look at SDSU getting seeded this year......Anyone who watched them after their QB went did could tell you they weren't a complete team BUT they played in the MVFC
  20. I've said it for years. Top to Bottom the Big Sky is just as good if not better......look at the bottom teams in the MVFC they are far from solid......
  21. Agreed, as much as I like our current staff, I don't love the timing of this.
  22. In my mind it's the only thing that makes sense if he really wants to boost the draft stock. I think overall he is stupid for leaving with the amount of risk, but if he truly wants to prove himself go show you can stand out with the best.
  23. I'd make a venmo bet with anyone on here that he goes SEC.......
  24. So you did an internship and that still wasn't enough to get you a decent job? Sorry about that. In my mind, when you are "calling for someone's head", as you are, you are questioning his "work ethic, livelihood and well-being". I would say if you approved of the three previous in Bubba and his staff you wouldn't want them canned. They took over a program going no where and now it is going somewhere. I like where it is going and that's my opinion. I'm glad you have an opinion, but I tend to disagree and believe comparing a sport of football to a business in unrealistic.
  25. Agreed. My main thought, I would rather go into the MVFC with the coaching staff we have than a brand new group of guys who might have zero experience in FCS football.
