After the coaching changes I'm re-upping my 5 season tickets and tailgate spots. I'm sure I would have anyway just wouldn't have been as excited. Also like the 3 early hopefully nice weather tailgating home games!

Not Freunds fault that Rudy didn't put more speed guys in. Had Izzy (when healthy), McKinney, and Greibel. And not to mention putting Santiago out in the slot.... I do agree with you though on getting someone from the outside with more experience as a D1 coach. Could Freund do it? Idk. I hope Bubba isn't ready to gamble on that in the position that he's in.

This is definitely one the things Fruend has going for him. But is it enough to gamble on especially in the position that bubba is in? Also have to take in consideration if Fruend leaves? Could he take a job as a coach at a D2 school somewhere?

I have the same feeling but don't agree with it. Don't get me wrong I like Fruend and think he's done an amazing job with the WR's but he just doesn't have enough experience to get the job. What would have been nice is Rudy getting fired during the season and then Fruend getting interim OC. Then we could have seen what Freund is capable of. (Yeah I know that never would happen) UND needs to find someone with experience as an OC and also someone who as had SUCCESS! Not some NAIA coach or D2 coach that hasn't had much success...

NAU head coach Jerome Souers is retiring

Eastern Illinois. Went 27-30 in 5 years with 1 playoff appearance (blowout loss to UNI). Record was 3-8 this year.

There was another school that fired their head coach after 5 season, 1 playoff appearance, and about the same win/loss record as bubba. Just cant remember what school it was??

Have you watched this team at all the last 5 years? According to you it should take 10 years to get good depth? Anybody who has been watching this team since bubba has taken over can see that he has more cons then pros. Don't use TE in the passing game anyways. Alex Cloyd is a junior and was supposedly a highly recruited player so the COACHES are to blame for not DEVELOPING him. So we should just use SU as an excuse? There are plenty of kids out there Bubba just isn't finding the right ones. (recruiting kids with no other D1 offers) I'd rather start over then keep what hasn't been working. If your saying it that way then you could also say they UND was a couple plays away from being 4-7 (SHSU and Portland State). So would you still be saying the same thing? 6-5 or 4-7 equals a sh$%^ football season. Changes need to be made!!!

It may be the way Bubba wants to run the offense but its Rudy's Plays/Schemes/Formations. Rudy wasn't qualified for the Job and has shown us that. If he and a few others arnt gone then Bubba has to go.

I think we should have at least got to see what Zimmerman could do. We did see some good things when he came in for Studsrud a few times. Seems it was what the coaches saw in practice with him. But we cant go by that because our HC, OC/QB coach are not good at picking the right QB for the job (Heidelbough). Think one of the games last year Zimm audibled and they play went for positive yards and still got yelled at by Rudy?

Do they usually do interviews with bubba on Mondays? I hope Tom Miller asks bubba the same question as he did last year. "Are there going to be any coaching changes" and if bubba answers the same way he did last year.....can him!!!!
