Twitter is the best way IMO
-
Just did it again.

This is exactly what NDSU fans do. ALL THE TIME
-
Why would this matter? UND is NDSU's biggest rival. Always has been and always will be.
-
Which coach doesn't?
-
I was kind of hoping for the same thing!
-
On his Twitter account he has 3 star DB and in his hudl tape its all DB highlights. So that's what I was going off of. So UND must be recruiting him as a WR?
-
Is he listed as a WR? Thought he was listed as a CB?
-
Anybody else see on twitter that Gage Gubrud of EWU is possibly transferring if he gets a medical redshirt?
-
Darius Lutt -- a 6-foot-1, 180-pound safety, decided to take a scholarship offer to run track at Indiana. Maybe his high school teammate leaving was another reason.

If the Texas State rumors are true about Case then the new head coach could be the reason why.... Jake Spavital - OC and QB coach at WVU where he coached Will Greir (future 1st rounder?) and former Heisman candidate Geno Smith. - OC and QB coach at Cal where he coached Davis Webb (NYG QB) - OC and QB coach at Texas A & M where he coached Johny Manzel Throw in Bobs Stitts offense where you throw the ball 50 times a game and I can see why Case is considering going there.

I think just the names alone would be a big difference in recruiting. Les Miles - Well known name in FBS college football who was successful at a big time football college....LSU Chris Klieman - Successful FCS college football coach, multiple championships, ect…. Now don't het me wrong Klieman is a great coach and any FCS football program would be glad to have him but lets not forget that the only reason he got offered the job is 1) Gene Taylor and 2) Every other applicant who was more qualified turned it down. Not saying Klieman wont be successful at the next level because no one can say that. We will find out soon enough. Best of luck to him!

https://undfootball360.com/news/und-recruiting-weekend-1/ Little update on the recruiting from the 360 guys.
-
Agreed. Wouldn't mind getting an OL either. If they were to move Austin Gordan back to RB you wouldn't think they would need to get a RB?

After the coaching changes I'm re-upping my 5 season tickets and tailgate spots. I'm sure I would have anyway just wouldn't have been as excited. Also like the 3 early hopefully nice weather tailgating home games!
-
The change should have been made a year ago!!!!

Does anyone know what areas Rudy and Knauf recruited? Just worried if they recruited some of these guys should we be worried?
-
Not Freunds fault that Rudy didn't put more speed guys in. Had Izzy (when healthy), McKinney, and Greibel. And not to mention putting Santiago out in the slot.... I do agree with you though on getting someone from the outside with more experience as a D1 coach. Could Freund do it? Idk. I hope Bubba isn't ready to gamble on that in the position that he's in.
-
This is definitely one the things Fruend has going for him. But is it enough to gamble on especially in the position that bubba is in? Also have to take in consideration if Fruend leaves? Could he take a job as a coach at a D2 school somewhere?
-
I have the same feeling but don't agree with it. Don't get me wrong I like Fruend and think he's done an amazing job with the WR's but he just doesn't have enough experience to get the job. What would have been nice is Rudy getting fired during the season and then Fruend getting interim OC. Then we could have seen what Freund is capable of. (Yeah I know that never would happen) UND needs to find someone with experience as an OC and also someone who as had SUCCESS! Not some NAIA coach or D2 coach that hasn't had much success...

http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/football/4531446-und-football-coach-bubba-schweigert-makes-coaching-staff-shakeup Schweigert said he would like to move as quickly as possible to fill these roles, adding he’s open to a change in offensive philosophy. Well that's interesting.....
