Yes we beat Michigan Friday, the crowd was crazy.

The Ralph in 06 regional was the best and might be tough to match because of what Holy Cross brought to the table, #16 seed upset, after the holy cross game the announcers on TV didn't say a word for a minute, camera scanned the ice and crowd the "Miracle in ND": MN was rated #1. MN had local talent. MN had a group of players that were very talented and lazy hot dogs. We were hungry to get to the Natty and hopefully win it. Hakstal had our boys playing at the top of their game, and the fans new it. UND had/has the most knowledgeable fans about hockey. During the regional, it's not a bring your kids to the game any more. Every fan gets into the game and makes noise.

I hope Jones has good new for us this morning, no news today is considered bad news in may book. If not Jones, then our AD could address yesterdays no show to the press. Worst case scenario, contract talks were not with Faison.

Who said the BTN isn't part of the negotiations. We have a ton of hockey fans/alumni to the east of GF that would watch the BTN more faithfully. Hockey fans in the B1G would draw a little better when UND played their school, at least we argue that. Who said we don't want some security of staying in the conference, and other things?? This is different that the Notre Dame or John Hopkins deal, again it sounds like they asked us, not that we went and asked them. My last comment in this thread, need to move it to the Hockey thread.

The "knock on wood" was your part, and i understand the very slim chance of us meeting Notre Dame in the DANCE. Our chances of getting in the B1Ghc are better. NCHC bailout is just over $1M, GOBC and alumni working on that and more $ with these athletic financial challenges. AD & Pres. working on negotiations with the B1G, it's taking a while so might not pan out, word on the curb in GF. There's 14 presidents in this ball game plus our 1.
