I just had to shoot an arrow back, sorry. BTW I did notice you gave Frozen4sioux a positve rep 4 hours ago for shooting arrows at our Hawk? This is another exciting week in UND sports. The game is literally 3 days away! I am still a little over whelmed how well we palyed last weekend. They showed glimses throughout the season, and really come together as a team against DenverU & MnDuluth.

I know this isn't a logo thread, but someone needs to defend our Hawk. I was a 50 year die-hard Sioux fan not long ago. Just like the Standing Rock protesters, time will work against you, we lost that logo war, get over it. Shooting arrows at the new logo will not bring back the old days, (was disgusted, good taste and half brain, what it was, what it's supposed to represent, so small, nondescript, underwhelming, doesn't matter. It just blends into the ice like any other nonimportant logo)(sounds like your trying to keep up to the poster with all the acquatinances aligning up to the the girlfriend who saw Tucker at the Red Pecker). Sure I have tons of Sioux logo clothes and wear them, but it's not the same anymore. Remember, your buddies at Standing Rock wouldn't let us keep it. Chew through that last sentence one more time, we lost the SIOUX logo/name! Some UND fans were very upset when the Flickertails were dropped. Life goes on, and as it does, more and more people will understand the whole picture and therefore support the Fighting Hawks. UND put Fighting Hawks logos up during spring break on campus and on the Hawks' Nest. Next season it will most likely be on the ice in The Ralph. We are still the same old UND. Let's get to the Froz4.

I'm thinking, a little misunderstanding. She was at the hockey games, I posted a pic of her on the glass behind the goalie in the DU game day thread. She came back with those same glasses, but not from the Hoggsbreath Brunch. I'll try and attend next year and maybe even with her. Nice hat!

The Fighting Hawks Logo really looks terrific on the white ice background. Since our ND friends at the Pipeline Protest had such a pathetic protest and left such a terrible mess on our land, I've been falling in love with "Fighting Hawks." Our new stream lined logo really looks sharp and clean, I treasure our new Name and Logo, with the same old University of North Dakota. UND Hockey has entered a new era, I believe, our first Hawk logo on the ice. How great it is. How beautiful !!!! Go Fighting Hawks

I guessing you spent a night in Walsh Hall, I was there in '70-71. Remember back then the ladies had to be in at 10:00 and Midnight on weekends. Also any fresh had to live in the dorm, unless your folks lived in or near GF.

Hay, don't give Walsh Hall a bad wrap, a lot of UND alumni had great meals at Squires Hall and studies were at the top of the priorites with our Walsh Hall RA's, till the game was on.

Love to see them beat Minny and then Lowel, then see who's playing in 2.5 weeks.

Good Monday Morning, another exciting week ahead! The Miska/Poganski Penalty, Pionck got 5 for steamrolling Cam, but he was allowed to finish the game Osterberg and Tonninato diving and flopping. Towards end of game, last 2 penalties on us were weak, a small grab and a dive behind goal. Holding Shaw's stick on the game winner, the puck goes off our skate. And, all the penalties that supposedly Eastern refs would call. Many frustrating moments in that game. It's over and we lost 4-3 on a heart breaker!!!!!! Been there many times. BBBBUUUTTT, we won Friday, we're playing our best hockey of the year and just played the two highest ranked teams in the country!!!!! We are going to be on home base in Fargo, let's heal up as much as we can and win 2. That would leave us with 2 to go! Imagine a month ago, being able to read this post today!

This was a victorious weekend for us, we are going to Fargo. We played two solid games against the top two teams in the country. The team is now ready, kind ah, what we have been waiting for since the 1st of January. Just hope T. Poolman can play next weekend. Remember all the comments this season, like "Just get us to Fargo". We are at the top of our game, just need to continue and we can win two in Fargo and move to the Frozen Four!
