I agree, Darrel is a great BB fan and may be would take it on him self to change the name of his thread. May even just change the first word of this thread to Extend instead of Fire? This is a huge 3 year old thread with nearly 3K posts and 171K views. Most people that read about BB can't help but read this thread name every time, not the best PR for BB. This can be accomplished by having a moderator help.

Just imagine if UND had a NCAA seed in WH with all of this sports success on campus!

DL ice is 2 feet thick, very late fall freeze up this year, normally at this time of year ice is around 3 feet. Everything refroze that melted 2 weeks ago. What a weekend for UND MBB and MH!

Jones is the best option for a coach that we have for next year. Who could we realistically pick up to replace him? Jones has brought us into the Div I era of MBB. Give him an extension and a raise this week, he could go else ware. Schools that care always find the money, President Kennedy cares, he was in Reno.

And Jones had the horses trained..... I'm a believer! My grandfather (son of a homesteader) told me it takes an awful lot of work to train a horse to become a great horse. He had one horse that he just couldn't train, left it in the pasture, told me that horse is worthless, has a mind of it's own, not a team player. Jones developed team players. Congratulations Fighting Hawks.

I was at DL ice fishing, very cold. Watched basketball on my laptop, MH and the Wild on big screens at Woodland Resort "Cove". Walleye and 3 wins!!!

Agree IMO , this is the best Jones team, worthy to go to the dance.

He is a good recruiter and may be a good coach (need more than one year to prove this), he and UND went through a lot to get us here, look at my list a few posts back, IMO I can't over emphasis this. I honestly think he has the horses this year to get to the Dance, not so much in the past. These players are disciplined (that's most definitely part of a good horse), and he has showed us that. Watch Jones on the side line and how he keeps the players doing what he wants done, this is part of why he got COY, that's why he won some of them close games. A lot of bouncy ball games can go either way in the last few minutes of a game, let's at least say more so than compared to FB & MH. Go Hawks! We're in one day at a time mode.

Agree, his past teams weren't that overly talented that he under coached them. This is the most talented team he has had, he now deserves a short extension and a raise, short meaning, being what happened here at UND with Musselman's extension. Go Hawks!
