  1. Hoping there will be some posts on here moved over the the "Moo U Dumpster Fire Thread" with some wheels coming of the manure spreader today.
  2. Except for these visitors, plus that one that likes hockey.
  3. I drove from GF (3 years ago just after Christmas) to the Bemidji Sports Center to pick up a 14' aluminum skid house for ice fishing. Met two separate individuals there with Sioux garb on. Had to say hi to each.
  4. I am not bragging about our attendance. Sure seems funny though when posters on Bozoville that think there are 15,000 fans waiting for season tickets.
  5. I definitely will sit this game out and apparently like many other locals. The point I'm making is if the Bizon had enough fans to fill the MANURE PIT, Montana St would have fewer seats.
  6. Hopefully these St. Cloud St. players make a good impact. Just curious, does anyone remember when our women's hockey and baseball programs ended, did any of our players transfer to St. Could?
  7. May necessarily not had the spots open, but at the same time they really may not have been filled yet either? While that may sound like some of our regular trolls talking out of both sides of their mouth, if the right person presents an opportunity to come aboard, you make the necessary decisions to make that happen.
  8. Only because your team didn't have enough fans wanting to go to the game.
  9. That's pretty impressive, this will make some jealous. When things like this get to largely be the beneficiary of one team, over time the powers/decision makers usually tend to neutralize it.
  10. Only 45 seconds, didn't have my computer, borrowed one, so download a free version and therefore the watermark My Video1.mp4
  11. More accusations from a lost sheep. location, location, location When a ref has a questionable call it's only normal for a fan board to discuss it.
  12. Should be fun watching some old Clowns on the field next year!
  13. cberkas has it right with the skilled players from up north that were generally a little older, and I'll add that it was not only us. Denver and CC were also trying to help Canadians get an American college education.
  14. Lamar dam near beat my team with his 37.08 points on Thursday, luckily Julio Jones had a great 2nd half in yesterdays game to get me to the fantasy super bowl!
  15. RIP Woog, really liked him doing the games.
  16. I'd say try Michigan down the road (if we can continue to snag these HoF games), by then we could be tied with them at 9. This game would have good hype! Michigan has a very old hard one for us, still fuming from the old WCHA days when they left. This could be the game that breaks the ice to get them playing us again. Play it at the X, a sell out for sure! Close to GF and with a large alumni population in TC's, ticket prices could make The Ralph some extra bucks - isn't what this is really about?
  17. There are not many tickets for resale yet. Reselling tickets is part of the process. Remember LV? There were all kinds of tickets for resale for a long time, ques what? The Orleans was packed when they dropped the puck and if you viewed the audience, you couldn't notice a fan not cheering. That crowd was into the game like the fans of a winning season at the Winter Sports Center (2nd AV N).
  18. Adds are now down to a smaller size, much more pleasant to a sports fan that needs to get to the latest UND sports gossip.
  19. St. Cloud was very much involved with the NCAA in getting the NCAA to restrict/eliminate Indian nicknames, mostly because we played them in multiple sports. They didn't want opposing Indian named sports teams visiting their campus. That's the short version. They shot thousands of arrows at us in the late 90's and 2000's for our Sioux nickname, which effected us. OLD SCHOOL: Do we owe them a payback? NEW SCHOOL: Do we thank them? Now for the Huskies: St. Clouds State's early nicknames included Normals, Teachers, Peds, Bear Cats, and Flying Clouds. Then a story has it that the present name originated from the FB team, referred to in the 1930's as the football huskies, relating to the team's size - intended to mean burly, robust or large, one that is husky. While this led to the nickname Huskies, the name's meaning was shortly thereafter changed to mean the dog. Over time various Husky dog logos were used. In 2014, the University updated its secondary logo, which features a Husky dog face. OLD SCHOOL: Now without FB, is it politically correct to continue the use of Huskies? NEW SCHOOL: Will all this take the bite out of their bark.
  20. Guessing not many students show, didn't notice many in Vegas. Guessing huge crowd, if this present team continues to play ball(puck) and makes a deep run in the playoffs.
