  1. The student section is always blanked out as is the visiting teams seats, being they are not available for sale to the public. Does not at all mean they are taken.
  2. Already shoveled, we are not going to be 3-8, just under the Bubble, fighting for a playoff spot. If we can get in, we do have a realistic chance of winning a game or two in the playoffs, that would be huge for this FB program. Then, next year, build on that.
  3. Weber State ATTENDANCE last week: 9,622 Game Time: 2:55 That Ticketmaster chart a couple posts back is still pretty close to tickets left for sale for UNC game. Now 3 days to game day, attendance is not looking good.
  4. Jones brought some talented two steppers to the ballroom, wore his Sunday's best while keeping the wax on his sideline shinning, and did take us to the DANCE. In a good way, he will come back to visit some day. Wish you the best JONES.
  5. So with these potential scenarios, we would need to have the NCAA's tournament committee place us in 21st place on their list to make the playoffs? Because the 22nd, 23rd, & 24th place ranked teams would be knocked out by these auto bids?
  6. The B1G led attendance over any conference. Their rinks are large. UND led attendance over any team.
  7. Yes I'll take all the B1G teams over all the NCHC teams. Minnesota be better than Duluth, and Wisco be better than Denver, and Mich be better than Clowns, and Mich St. be better than W. Mich and so on. There is at least one team in the B1G for every one NCHC team that would make a better rival for us.
  8. No, I chose Wisconsin over Denver I chose 1 team from B1G for 1 NCHC team to challenge as a better rival for us.
  9. The Wisco games were bloodier. Big physical rivalry. More badger fans show up in GF than any team's fans today. Michigan still won't play us today for how bad they hated us. Nt Dam always drew in GF. Clean rivalry if there could be such a thing. The Spartans would continually complain about our Canadian studs, not fair to go up N and get them, soon Mich joined in. The Goofs (location location location), #1 Rival, brought fans. Large ND alumni contingency in TC. I've posted this in years past. I would take all 7 of B1G hockey teams in a conference over the 7 we have now. NORTH DAKOTA with: Mn over Duluth Wis over Denver Mich over St. Cloud Mich St over W. Mich Nt Dam over Omaha Penn St over CC Ohio St over Miami, Oh Lots of hardware in top 4 teams to left plus NDak.
  10. Yes, all five were in the WCHA when in was in college in early 70's.
  11. We should move up a little each of the next two weeks with winning out, along with certain teams just above us loosing to help with the move up. We loose one of these next two games - don't even want to go there.
  12. We are what could be called the 26th team of Coaches Poll, with most votes of teams not making the top 25. Keep winning and we should move up? We drop 4 spots?
  13. So with the Weber loss we drop 5 spots in Athlon to #20.
  14. ? Top 8 FCS teams get a first round bye, with then a home game. With the next 16 tourney teams, as long as your team makes the first round of playoffs, does it really matter at what ranking you are - the bidding takes care of home games?
  15. I'll give it a try, I think we move up in the STATS one cog. STATS FCS Top 25: 21 - North Dakota - MY Prediction, and agree if we are in today and win next two, should be in.
  16. That is unfortunate, this board will miss your live game posts! C U @ the season final game and Turkey Weekend!
  17. So if they played a division 2 team, wouldn't that be like playing 11 games, similar to us? I would somehow love to see us play EWU at the Alerus in the playoffs?
  18. And if it doesn't, the hose freezes up when cold enough. A few variables involved here.
  19. Time to bump up this thread. If we can play good this weekend at Ogden and last two games, we should ratchet up in these polls as the regular season finishes. This weeks polls: FCS Coaches Poll: 22 - North Dakota STATS FCS Top 25: 22 - North Dakota Hero Sports: 16 - NORTH DAKOTA 5-3 Athlon Sprots: 15 - North Dakota (5-3 Independent) Compughterratings: 12 - North Dakota
  20. Many sump pumps still pumping in GF, be interesting to find out how high the volume of daily sewer water heading to the lagoon is at daily. An article in Herald a few weeks ago had normal sewer usage through out year at 8M gal per day with about 20M gal daily at that time. The assumption to this big increase was that sump pumps pumping into the sewer had much to do with this. While not everyone is guilty here, some are still pumping outside and of those some are finding the sump pump hoses freezing up and then the sump pump burning up. Next spring could definitely bring many challenges. Another thing that happens when the ground is this wet is that when it freezes, it raises up more than normal - with the expansion of the water freezing in the soil.
  21. Weather has been all kinds of extremes since this wet cycle started in the fall of 1993. That year my father bought tracks for the combine to get the crop off. Devils Lake has risen to near natural spillage levels in the time frame. GF got wet in 1997. The RR Valley has had many high water years, Fargo has had many tough fights along with other communities. Lots of crop still in fields, going to result in many $ of loss.
  22. 9/21 would of been the logical day to have the 12th game. Do we know if it was that UND couldn't agree with another team for a 12th game or an in-house decision to have 11?
