I’ve been pessimistic about the defense, I think it will take a couple of years to rebuild. With that being said, I do not think it’s possible for the defense to be worse than last year. There will be some improvement; even if it’s only slight for year one.

Your anger would make more sense if they named JTJ the starter. He was brought in and paid, but didn’t win the job.

I have some friends that are coming to the first game. Would it be best to recommend buying day of to avoid Ticketmaster fees? What time on game day is the box office open for walk ups?

Is Grant Noland’s spot on the depth chart showing how good he performed in camp or how little depth/talent we have at corner? Or both? Crazy how badly Dixon/Bluiett/Bishop turned out for us.

I believe so. He was mentioned in the mailbag for sure. Wilkerson was also very high on him when he did the 360 podcast a couple of weeks ago.

Noland listed as starter at CB, is Seidl hurt? Leigh listed at RB.

Javance is a better runner

Don’t mind it at all if true. Jerry will get majority of snaps. Can still use JTJ and his athleticism. Maybe he can perfect the QB sneak like Q did.

Glad to see the NDSU games are different this year. Doubleheader in Fargo on Feb 28th, and then UND plays them back to back days in GF on Feb 14th (Men’s) and 15th (Women’s). I’m assuming Hockey being home on the 14th would be the reason for no double header on the 14th?

The 360 guys have had a couple interviews at least.

Devereaux will see a lot of time. He will be the third guy at LB behind McNeal and Parks. Listen to the podcast that 360 recently put out about the defense. Went position by position and Wilkerson (new safeties coach) was great in that recap.

The passing game will also be better IMO. It just might take a little time with a new starter.

The passing game is going to be a work in process. We will be able to move the ball effectively on the ground, similar to or better than last year.

Have you seen the Twins attendance the last couple of years? Not good. And it will only get worse

Not good. The fan base has already completely turned against them. It’s tough to conceptualize how this can end up working out.

Looking ahead to our home games this season, I wonder if they will switch anything up. New 3rd down or touchdown song? I know the helmet isn’t usable anymore but they could improve the intro compared to the last couple of years. Would be nice to have a dedicated song to run out to, and actually show on the Jumbotron the opening of the locker room doors with Schmidt leading the boys out.
