To be fair, these facilities are just getting finished. Also, other than DBs coach the whole defensive staff is getting replaced which had been our biggest issue. Still worried about the QB position and WR room, but I think WR will continue to get addressed in the portal.

I like both. I do think they need to fix the calendar for the portal and try to regulate NIL more though.

I would still like them to get another WR in the portal. This is definitely a good start though.

Mayville will end up alright this year, still have 3 solid players. Dakota State or any top NAIA team easily beats this UND team IMO. Mayvile State roster is all ND and MN. Dakota State roster is basically all the surrounding Midwest states.

So everyone but King retained on offense and Stepps only one retained on defense? I wonder if King will join Freund at SDSU now.

I’m guessing we will hear coaching staff announcements starting to come in this week and next. I’m excited to hear who he will be bringing in.

The portal is flooded even more than usual. I wonder if we can get some FCS to FCS transfers that thought they could move up but can’t. We just offered a WR from NAU as well.

Sather is only extended through 25-26 correct? Not sure how common lame duck coaches are in CBB but he would likely either be fired or given another 1 year extension after the season wouldn’t he?

Mayville not as good this year so we will win. Although, last years Mayville team would have had a good shot to win again.
