We return a lot on offense and can build of that. I think if the defense is even average next year that’s a win for us.

I like the room for next year. Transfer from San Diego State looks to be the part and I’m also a believer in Kaminsky as well. Return Romfo as well but don’t think he will win the job.

I’m a huge believer in what the offense can do next year. Agreed on the defense, has been all time bad for 2 years and will take some time to turn around.

A couple of good write ups from Kelly. As was expected, seems like the coaching staff will be targeting some more defensive players from the spring portal with DT and LB being the main focus.

The hockey forum would say otherwise… unless that’s not what you are referring to and are only talking about MBB. Chaves does have decisions to make unless he is letting all 3 of them coach on the last year of their contract.

Let them be regular season champs, be eligible for awards etc.. But if they are ineligible to go to the NCAA tourney, why let them be in the conference tourney? Especially if the point of the conference tourney is the fact that the winner of the tournament gets to move on the NCAA tourney.

If Eaglestaff transfers: King, Panaom, Mara, Woodson, and Kraft would be the returners that got minutes this year. Thomas played a bit but fell out of the rotation. This is assuming everyone else stays. Kraft won’t be ready to start or play big minutes IMO (Sather loves him so he will, Danielson 2.0…) Like every offseason it seems, I will once again be saying that UND needs a true PG and a big.

Why let St Thomas play in the tourney? Don’t you want a championship game that matters. Look at all the publicity the tourney got for Eaglestaff’s 51 bomb

Comparing just stats, Schiller appears to be much better. I haven’t seen much of Vasecka so guess I can’t comment for sure.

I would love to go at some point, but with both teams down this year, it is tough to justify in my head.

Chaves should look at the Schmidt hire and see how optimism and general excitement around the program can change quickly with a new hire. It still needs to be proven on the field, but it appears Schmidt is off to a good start. I think the same thing can happen with MBB, and in this day and age in can happen quickly. Hell, even this year with the Alabama, SDSU, and NDSU games, there has been great atmospheres. Imagine if we were actually good…
