Honest question for you: Obviously the excitement is back to your program. I know attendance has gone down recently and is a big talking point as of late. I think years 1 and 2, and even years 3 and 4 will see a big increase once they officially become bowl eligible. Do you think the excitement will start to go back down around year 5? Or does it depend on the success they have in the new MW?

It was NDSU that wanted SDSU and UND at home on different years wasn’t it? I would feel bad for you guys, but you wouldn’t play us in the Alerus when we were in the Big Sky. Bubba gave in and we went to the Dome twice. Your ticket prices also aren’t correct, but whatever!

Yep. This is another aspect of the discussion. The Dome is in need of upgrades and that has already gotten shot done and don’t appear to be happening any time soon.

Maybe I’m wrong. But if this is the asking price for SDSU/Montana/Montana State/UND/USD etc… it may be a little while until we see the next move up.

The initial excitement will be there. If this ends up happening I see attendance in the Dome will be increase for the first two years. The question is what happens after that. They obviously got bored of winning all the time in the FCS, will they get bored once they are 4 to 5 years into the MW?

The other confusing part to me is moving up for this fall already. Don’t you have to announce earlier, I thought this would mean for fall of ‘27. But like you said, there are no rules anymore. NDSU can probably sue and not have a transition period.
