3-4 shouldn’t be seen as the main problem. The problem last year is that we had very poor personnel at safety, OLB, and for the most part D-Line. Like @Midwestern Hawkstated above, I’m still worried about safety and OLB. There’s still time, but they did not use the portal to improve those areas. The defense will be better, but that’s mainly because it can’t be much worse. There are some things schematically I think they could do better, but I think the main problem is the personnel they have to work with.

Flyger was a DC for a year at Northern State. Maybe Schwenzfeier? It’ll be interesting how this turns out and hopefully they don’t have to stay in house.

Probably an in-house hire? Don’t think I would like that at all…

This team has gotten much worse defensively as the year has gone on. I actually praised the improvement and more athleticism during the non conference slate.

Had 4 starters with 30 plus minutes, and only played 4 off the bench. This is how it should have been throughout conference play. When we had that successful Thanksgiving weekend, I looked back and we only played 10, although Brooks was hurt. Kind of makes me wonder why they were playing 12 guys there for a while.

I honestly didn’t think he would get run out there again after the first 3.

The 3rd and 1 throwback to Kirk was a terrible call.

I think Donatell is all but gone, anybody got any names that could replace him?
