Johannesson in at FB and fake a toss and run quick trap. It has a chance to hit but likely wouldn't lose yards unless JJ falls or one of the OL completely miss a block. This will not be the play but it would a low risk play to start the game that could go for good yardage.

Maybe members of the fan forum should get together at games and have some kind of official Sioux Sports "pissing contest".

It isn't a different opinion that I have trouble with, it's constantly the same thing being repeated over and over again. I get it you hate pretty much everything about the program after last season, it doesn't need to be stated multiple times a day on multiple threads.

I would argue this forever, because it really isn't what you do as much as how well you do it. Just look at NDSU!

Guess what happens when you have great RB's and crap OL play? No matter how talented the RB they will fail with a bad OL. As much as I think John Santiago is a great back he can't be successful without some blocking. Brady and James can still make positive gains with a crumby OL. A good OL makes an average back look great, so why the hell is UND not recruiting and developing offensive linemen?

Why don't you continue to bash high school kids that made a choice to play football at UND, that seem like a reasonable thing to do before they ever set foot on campus. Part of me wonders if you would talk all this !@#$ to peoples face like you do on this website, I think I know the answer.

So people don't like your negative !@#$ talk over and over again and that makes them "losers". When was that last time you posted something positive about the program? Recruiting should be all positive because these players could all potentially be great at UND but you even make recruiting negative.

Did that strike nerve? Do you now claim to have better football knowledge and experience than the current football staff? If so let's get you hired so you can work your magic.

I was just pointing out that a lot of the "experts" on this fan website seem to think they know more than the people who do it as a career. Everyone makes mistakes and second guesses things when they look back at how that particular situation turned out. Nobody posting on this website has all the information but many speak with absolute certainty about things that have happened. Sure, I look at the program and think I would do certain things differently, but I also understand I am not actually in the situation and do not have all the information.

That is certainly not what most people on this fan site do. We have a lot of armchair coaches at Siouxsports that know and understand football far better than the coaching staff.

That is the best I have ever witnessed from UND men's basketball. Every few years may actually be a little generous but winning roughly 65% of your games isn't competing for championships year in and year out. In reality I am a very casual observer of the program but my biggest complaint about Jones is his lack of recruiting and keeping quality and effective big men. At the same time Hooker and Crandall have been some of the most fun players to watch at UND, at least coming from my limited observation.

Should we really be surprised a Sioux Falls kid picks SDSU over UND at this point? If he picked UND over the Jacks it would have been a fairly big surprise win for us IMO.

Yeah, I remember the men's basketball sucking while I was in school and directly before and after. I have never thought of it as a particularly strong program.

I was not thinking expectations shouldn't be high but some people want to fire coaches almost immediately after they have any struggles. We live in a society where people see one team have success right out of the gate with a new coach but that isn't normal or usually sustainable. NDSU didn't become great in a year or two but they had the right coach and had tremendous recruiting class and took off. It is the same people spewing constant negativity on the board and it gets old. I am pretty sure everyone knows where they stand because it is posted repeatedly. If you have to keep replacing coaches all the time it is a sign you have problems, sometimes patience is needed. Now this isn't directly related to Jones as I don't follow basketball enough to have a reasonable opinion about him. But the Fire Hak crowd several years back and people calling for Bubba's head after a bad and injury plagued season is foolish. Did the basketball team win a conference title recently?
