I can't understand how Schmidt just gets a pass all the time... He calls a game like he is playing a video game. I get being aggressive but it isn't aggressive when it is every play call. I team needs to be able to play good football out of base alignments! Plenty of blame to go around at that includes all the coaching staff.

I don't have faith Kett will make a play in the clutch, way to inconsistent.

RU fucking kidding, he is part of the problem! Our defense blitzes almost every play. He puts players in crappy spots all the time and calls a reckless game. Where the hell was the safety help on the last TD? Oh wait, he left the corner to cover the opposing teams best WR alone again with the game on the line. The game had a lot of issues and it was a bad loss, but defense if a big part of the problem right now. Kett doesn't play well in clutch situation... he was a mess at the end of game the last two weeks. Guy makes some great throws and some terrible ones as well, very inconsistent. We are very depleted at WR and the OL had a bad game in pass protection. Special teams... I can't believe the punter tried to kick the ball with the two Idaho players coming. Eat the ball or spin out from the block and try to make a play. I was cringing every play the last few Idaho drives as I am watching 6 or 7 guys rushing every play and leaving the DB's in tough spots. That should be a something that is done from time to time, not every damn play.

At least they justified why they have UND in the position they do. Whether you agree or not they made a good point and our defense looked bad against an offense that hadn't done anything all year up to that game.

I agree and I think running him is worth the risk. I don't feel like it is a big difference between Ket and Zim or even Boltmann so just cut them loose and if an injury happens... deal with it. If he runs the ball last week a 5 to 10 times time I think the entire game changes because the Weber D were flying to the ball on every handoff.

I wasn't surprised, the defense had not been able to get off the field on 3rd down all game long and we had no timeouts left. IMO it was the right call.

He seems to run very hot and cold. He makes some very good plays at times and other times some really poor decisions.

I think they played a good game on offense with a good game plan but it was a lot of easy passes for the QB to guys that for the most part were wide open.

Except he isn't really a stud but had a good game, oh and the defense made it pretty easy for him.

Sure but the Defense has to get themselves off the field by making plays on 3rd down and they didn't do it almost the entire game. Going into the game I figured this was going to be tough for the offense but I also figured the defense would be able to hold a sub par offense and they didn't.

I kind of lost my !@#$ in the 4th quarter when Rodgers had the RB for a stop on 3rd and long but didn't wrap up and just tried to knock him down or push out of bounds.

Does it take a national title to be "relevant" because UND football has done that exactly 1 time ever. If you expect UND to have the same success NDSU has had recently you are going to be waiting a long time because a run like this will most likely never happen again. I would say making the playoff is relevant, conference title is relevant. I would say it hasn't been that long since UND football was relevant but last season did suck. I was frustrated with the game but it was clear the ILB were out of position for a lot of the game. The offense wasn't very good but I wasn't expected a lot against a very good defense. 20 points on the board should have won the game if the defense played well at all. The blame doesn't fall to one group or player but the defense was the biggest problem for me considering they were playing a below average offense. Giving up all the 3rd and long plays was hard to watch!

This was hard to watch, UND looked really bad for most of the game on both offense and defense. Vrede (sp) should play almost every down at ILB, he plays fast and actually wraps up when tackling. This was a very ugly game for UND and specifically the LB play.

Well... what can compete with good old McDonalds?

That's a pretty big number, maybe that is why it is so slow. When I lived in TX everyone though Whataburger was the best thing ever and it was pretty good but nothing special, same deal with In-N-Out.
