The "WCHA" I remember was: UND Denver CC Minnesota Michigan Michigan State Michigan Tech Looks like UND, Denver, and CC are just trying to "restart" the WCHA. (Just need Tech: which might still be added later).

The league as it sits now has six members. It needs 8. Western Michigan is out apparently. If Notre Dame joins they get to bring with them whomever they would like. But if Notre Dame decides to go to Hockey East, look for SCSU and Mankato to get an invite.

Oh I saw it, but UND joining/making a new conference is historic (since it has been a charter member of the WCHA) and doesn't really have anything to do with the BTHC (at least not directly).
